I visited many furniture stores and found out that due to COVID, shipping was backed up to July in some instances. I just couldn't find the perfect couch. I had almost given up when I went to Abbott's. I found the best couch and I was able to take it right off the floor! The salesmen were properly masked and so polite while answering my endless questions. My couch was delivered quickly and even the gentlemen who delivered it were wearing masks. This couch is a beautiful, solid addition to my home and it has passed the nap test. I highly recommend Abbott's.

Well, 6 months rolled by and we were told it would be at least another 2 months. So I finally decided to cancel the order and asked if they would split the deposit with me (I was only asking for 1/2 the deposit amount back) - they told me no. I can't imagine the person making it had it made and/or not even had the wood yet for the project and even if they had the wood, it could have been used for another order from someone else. Just make sure if you purchase something you really want it and are willing to wait for it for a long time. We were very disappointed that they would not work with us at all on the partial deposit refund. Not good customer service or way to keep a potential future customer.
