I wanted to share my disappointment with our recent experience at your practice…read more Earlier this week, I received a call letting me know that my son's contacts were ready for pickup. During that call, I learned that he would need an appointment so the contacts could be fitted and checked before we could take them home. I explained that I would wait until our glasses were ready so that we could hopefully take care of everything in one visit. Unfortunately, I never received a phone call letting me know that my glasses and my son's glasses were ready. When I contacted the office, I was told that a text had been sent on August 10. I checked my phone, and I did not receive a text from your office on August 10 notifying me that the glasses were ready. Since I am coming in today to pick up both pairs of glasses, I asked if my son could also have his contact fitting completed today so that we could take care of everything in one trip. I was told there were no appointments available and that the next appointment was Monday at 8:00 a.m. My son is in school at that time, and I am not willing to pull him out of school for a contact lens fitting. I then asked for the latest appointment available and was told that the latest your office schedules these appointments is 3:00 p.m. This means I will still have to leave work approximately two hours early and pull my son out of school early simply to have his contacts checked. What makes this especially frustrating is that my son already wears contacts and is comfortable putting them in and taking them out. At his previous appointment, checking the contacts and confirming the fit took only a few minutes. I understand that your office has procedures and scheduling requirements, but requiring a separate visit during school and work hours for such a brief fitting is extremely inconvenient for working parents and school-aged children. I want to emphasize that everyone we have interacted with has been very nice, and we were initially very pleased with your practice. That is why this is so disappointing. Had I known beforehand that contact fittings could only be scheduled during such limited hours, requiring me to leave work and my son to leave school early, we likely would have chosen a different practice. Unfortunately, because of the communication issue and the lack of appointment flexibility, my family and I will not be returning to your practice after this. I hope you will consider this feedback, particularly when scheduling appointments for school-aged children and working families. Even offering one later appointment time during the week would make a significant difference.

Took our prescription next door wife went first she ended up paying 210.00 for hers, I told her I was wanting the 2 pair for 49.00 so she took me to see their limited frames for that price, took them to a different saleslady, when we were almost done, she said it would be 240.00. I said I came to buy the 2 for 49.00. She said that don't include no line, your add showed a man saying even no lines in a hour. She replied it's not polycarbonate it's thick heavy lenes I said ok then that's what I want, she said that we don't like selling them and would not sell them to me, then the last thing she said was I have your prescription here if you change your mind. Let me say that didn't happen. I hate false advertising and bait and switch tactics. The only reason I giving 3 star's is because of the people next door providing the eye exam.

(Dr Kenneth Hall) and the support staff were friendly, attentive and guided me through pre-exam as well as after. The next day I went to get glasses...and what a great experience! Memory is fading but Emily (I HOPE I remembered correctly!) was awesome! Gave me some good guidance on frames, helped me determine best course of payment options (I have insurance but their prices make insurance not necessary) and saw the process from beginning to end! She currently sees three generations of my family (my parents, my wife and me and our children) and we ALL drive nearly an hour to visit her. Why? Aside from having bought hybrids :) we all fee like a part of her family. We feel important to her and the practice. They are truly the type of people that make a person feel welcomed and that they will go the extra mile for you. Frankly though, and most importantly, I trust the practice with the care of my elderly parents and my children. The level of knowledge and expertise, coupled with the sincerest of hospitality and friendliness, is a combination that allows for me to confidently and proudly give them 5 stars and refer business to them at any chance I get.

I called to verify Paris Eye Care accepted my insurance before making an appointment, as I would be a new patient for them. I was told they accepted my insurance, so I set the appointment with them. About 2 weeks later, show up for the appointment and Paris Eye Care tells me, "They don't know if they told me, they don't accept 'Tricare'." I would never have set the appointment in the first place if they didn't take my insurance, hence the initial call to verify they were in network before making the appontment. MyEyeDr.(chain) takes benefeds(FEDVIP) / Tricare if you can make the trip to Jackson, TN. Frustrating for many reasons, and it would seem that they do not want to help with fed employees and vets with their vision needs by remaining out of insurance network.

The first person who took me back for a contact…read morelenses exam (Hailey?) was thorough and knowledgeable, and her reaction to my vision (or lack thereof) was kind of adorable. Dr Haddad came in like the rock star she is, with her transcriptionist (who has keen ears to hear what the doc mutters while measuring and examining so I wouldn't freak out). She told me frankly that I will always need readers with contact lenses. If been flying with wearing them again for years but no doc before has been realistic-each new brand would be better and they weren't. She shifted my expectations by telling me what other optometrists never said as clearly. She taught me about the shape of my eye ball and why it matters. She even saw my floaters! I may have heard most of this before as I've been sight-challenged forever, but she said it all in a way that I remember even two weeks later. She gave me one distance and one close vision lens and it's been incredible how well I can see! My glasses are so thick that I was self conscious in this zoom life we live. Now I can just be me, with my face and no barrier. I'm joyful.

I completely understand that offices can get behind, but having a scheduled appointment, waiting that long, being told I was next, and then watching several others go ahead of me was extremely frustrating. Better communication and respect for scheduled appointment times would have made the experience much better.
