The classes went okay at first until the end of them when the trainer said we're going to work on "socializing". The other dog was much much larger and quickly came over to ours and overpowering, literally pinning our dog to the ground. The trainer stated that our dog would "bite or bark when they don't feel safe" but instead, our little dog simply lied down and peed himself because he was so scared... This evidently caused behavioral issues with our puppy and caused him to be scared of other dogs and strangers. HIGHLY do NOT recommend bringing your dog here to be trained... Also the prices of items there are absurd

Apparently this is legal in New Hampshire, if a retail worker is hurt and asks for on the fly accommodations, their employer can require them to spend large amounts of their own money to visit a doctor and receive a note when the accommodations are needed then and there. I left promptly after hearing this interaction and will not be returning as I do not support businesses that do not support their workers. Legality and morality are not the same. Be better.

Now I've lost all my fish. Not even 12 hours in the tank, one of the Acaras had eye cloud/pop eye, started treatment right away, didn't think much of it, it happens. 3 days later my Oscar got "ick" & here's the whole downfall. That Acara had Epistylis. I didn't realize that cloudy eye could be caused by this disease, and now all my fish are covered in Epistylis. I've bought $100's of dollars in fin/body treatment for that cloudy eye, and to treat what I originally thought was ick, and now I'm left with dying fish. I've lowered temps, bought new meds, but it's just too late I think. If these fish don't survive, now I need all new substrate, decor, literally have to reset the whole tank. I feel as though I should be reimbursed for all of the wasted medications, my loss of fish, the new substrate I'll have to get, all of it. I've been a customer of Petco for many many years, I hope you guys can make this right, and TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOUR FISH!!

He's the owner but is totally hands-on...not just a behind-the-scenes guy. He's right out there, scooping fish, chatting with customers about their pets, giving AWESOME advice about food, treats, medications, whatever you need. Even making deliveries for orders! He's just a really nice, kind, caring person who makes it very obvious that you as well as your pet are 100% happy with whatever you've purchased. So if you have ANY questions about, well, pretty much anything, he's your man. PSP in Somersworth is the only one I've been to so I can't attest to how others are run. And they're all privately owned franchises so they can differ greatly. But however you feel about the others, don't let it sway you from going here. It's always clean, well stocked and it's very convenient (next to Market Basket in Somerworth,NH...tax free! Woohoo!!) It even has designated parking in front of the store. You can even get your food delivered the same day! For FREE!!! There's also a sale rack in front which is nice. Something I learned last time I was in is that anything that is returned but has been opened goes to local shelters. (Love that!) Make sure to go on the web site and get on the mailing list, too. You will get coupons for 10-20% off your whole order and you'll also get points for watching 20 second videos, doing little animal quizzes etc. Points = money so you get up to $20 off your order at a whack. What's not to like about that?? You will always see people with their furry friends in there shopping and there's always a bowl of cool water for them, if needed.
