As a matter of fact, the day after Dr. Zellner performed surgery on one of my eyes, I had tickets for a Broadway show --- and was able to attend and my vision seemed perfect. Didn't miss a thing!! A visit to Dr. Zellner's office is always a pleasure for more than one reason: His staff is friendly and efficient, the office is modern and creatively decorated (with zig zag windows, a big beautiful eye and the surprising bathroom must be visited). To top it all off, Doctor Zellner is not only an excellent, efficient, experienced knowledgeable ophthalmologist/surgeon, he's also got a great sense of humor! The answering service let me know they couldn't make an appointment, but that they would relay the message to the receptionist, who would call me upon the office opening at 8AM. Well, I am glad to say that I found another doctor, because it is currently 11:30AM and not only have I not heard anything back from this office, I was welcomed into a new practice who had a sense of urgency in helping me. I will no longer patronize a doctor's office who has no sense or urgency or regard for their patients. I could understand if they were not able to fit me in, but to not even call back an existing patient is unacceptable. Edit: it is a full day later, and they still never called. He said he is! I asked if he is not going to exam my eyes. Mildly annoyed at my question, he said it is not needed and there is a correlation between old age and eyesight reduction. A correlation. I would wear his prescription for years and he did not spent a few minutes of his time to check my eyesight.
