At the time, I was debating between a home birth and a hospital birth, since I'd had my other two babies in a hospital. Before she left that day, La Kiesha looked at me and said, "You're a home birth mom." We paid her in full that same day. We knew she was the one. La Kiesha became far more than a doula. She sat down with my parents and my children beforehand, bringing props and books to help prepare the whole family. When I went into labor with my daughter, she was there in an instant, making sure I ate, stayed hydrated, and felt supported every step of the way. When I struggled to settle during delivery, she gently told me my body needed to shift and move. I did, and within the hour, my daughter was born. If you're wondering whether to go with Agape Birth and Wellness, follow your heart. Agape means unconditional love, and that name felt like a clear sign La Kiesha was the one. She gives her kindness so naturally that it's simply who she is. To this day, I consider her an extension of my family. I love her so much, and she is amazing.

LaKiesha provided more than just professional support--she brought a calming presence, encouragement, reassurance, and genuine love to the entire experience. Watching my daughter become a mother and welcoming my granddaughter into our family is something I will never forget. Knowing that LaKiesha played such an important role in helping make that experience positive and memorable makes me forever grateful. Thank you, LaKiesha, for answering the calling to support mothers and families during one of life's greatest moments. Our family truly appreciates everything you did. I would highly recommend Doula LaKiesha to any expecting mother looking for someone knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to the families she serves. I found Renea online & met with her a few days later in our home. I knew by the end of our meeting that she was who I wanted beside me as I labored and gave birth. On the day I went into labor we were in constant communication via text. Once active labor began she came over to my home (with all of her essential oils!) and worked through the contractions with me. She was a strong supporter for me during this intense time! She came with us to the hospital and was right by my side as I delivered my son. We hired her again for our second-born son's delivery and she was with me, again, during active labor and at the hospital. We also saw her for a postpartum visit after each delivery. It's been 2 years since we first hired her and we are still friends. I text her randomly with a question and she is quick to reply! I've said this before and i'll say it again--i wouldn't want to birth my babies without Renea by my side!

I had a C-section, and my recovery would have been much more difficult without Martha's help. She cared for our newborn overnight so my wife could actually sleep between taking care of the baby and supporting me during my recovery. That rest made a huge difference for our journey as parents. We entered this new phase of life more rested, more confident and overall more able to enjoy our newborn bubble. Martha is incredibly warm, professional, knowledgeable, and wonderful to have in your home. As a first-time mom, I had endless questions every night, and being able to ask someone with years of expertise who already knew our baby was invaluable. She provided personalized guidance based on our baby's individual baseline--something you simply can't get from Reddit, Google, or even a doctor who hasn't spent that same time getting to know your baby. She helped answer ours various with feeding, (is that enough, is that too much?) the type of bottles and formula that would be best for her, diaper rash, the umbilical cord, soothing, sleep, and all the little questions that come up with a newborn. She always made us feel more confident and reassured. Her newborn and sleep-shaping set up is another huge benefit. Our baby sleeps pretty gooood (not to brag) and I fully credit Martha for that. Our baby was sleeping 4/5 stretches from like 3 weeks on and has hit 5/6 consistently since. & it's not cry-it out, its gentle routine. She helped us establish routines that worked for our family and gave us structure during the day and night. Having Martha with us from night one was genuinely life-changing. She is funny, sweet, dependable, and truly cares about the families she works with. We will absolutely seek her out for our second baby and cannot recommend her enough to any new parents considering overnight newborn care.

From the moment she walked through the door, she stepped into action, anticipating what needed to be done and making our lives so much easier. This is my second child, and the newborn period has been dramatically easier than it was with my first. Martha played a huge role in that. Not only did she provide exceptional overnight care, but she also helped us establish healthy sleep habits and develop a routine that fit our family. My son is now 3 months old and is an incredible sleeper, and I truly credit Martha with helping lay that foundation. Martha is kind, calm, dependable, punctual, and genuinely wonderful to work with. She gave us the confidence to enjoy those early weeks instead of just trying to survive them. If you're considering hiring Martha as a night doula, don't hesitate. You won't regret it!

Monica did not disappoint. She was amazing and she lessened my postpartum anxiety and helped eased my family's transition from a family of three to a family of four. Monica has a warm and professional approach. During the in-home meeting, she listened carefully to mine and my partner's concerns and worked with us on the hours and days we wanted her to provide postpartum doula services. When she was working with us, she would anticipate what we needed or wanted - such as helping with picking up, sweeping, dishes, and taking out the trash - without us asking. Primarily, I needed assistance with my older child (2yrs old), such as watching her so I can get some sleep, take a shower, or just have a break. She was amazing at both watching my child and helping out around the house. Monica also provided some knowledge on diastasis recti, different holds for the baby when she has gas, and how to wear baby carriers/wraps. At the end of each session, she checked in with me about whether all mine and my family's needs were met and how she could better assist us for the next session. She listened carefully and came prepared for the next session. Both me and my family looked forward to each session because she made the post-partum period easier and less frustrating. I recommend Moon Sister Doula to my friends that are pregnant or trying to get pregnant.

Kristin has such a grounding and inviting vibe and energy that felt comforting and supportive right from the start. You know how some providers/professionals will say they're supportive of your choices but you can tell they are actually judging you? Kristin is the complete opposite! She was down for and excited about any decision that I felt was right for me, my baby, and our birth - which didn't just communicate support but also made me feel empowered and centered in my own choices. My fiancé was pretty skeptical about hiring a doula - his family and friends had all had kids and no one had "needed" a doula - but he ended up SO thankful and grateful that Kristin was by our side. He can't stop singing her praises to anyone who will listen! Kristin was/is so knowledgeable and informative. Anytime there was a turn in the road, we immediately looked to her. She would provide some small education and then give her perspective, ultimately reassuring us that we were in control of what decision we ended up making and what felt most right for us and our birth. She stayed by our side the whole time - I truly don't know what we would have done without her! She took some photos, kept track of timelines, and helped make sure baby latched for the first time. Even postpartum she has been such a life saver. We're able to text her our freak out questions and she responds with the same attentiveness and care as she did before and during birth. She also did my placenta encapsulation and supports us with our lactation questions and needs. Can't recommend her enough

She just knew it would feel better. Kristin supported me getting an epidural and never judged or pushed any beliefs on me. She checked in on me throughout my pregnancy but was never bothersome and took away my anxiety rather than added to it. Kristin gave me reassurance when I was overdue and sure enough my baby came out four days late with not even 20 mins of pushing. It was amazing! She is professional, knowledgeable and kind- the perfect combination for a doula. I cannot recommend Kristin enough!

Second…read morepregnancy, previously took a hospital class, but I really wanted a natural birth this time, and had not felt prepared for that with my last class. The hospital class prepared me for interventions to expect, and basically how to be a good patient. Flor not only covered the physical aspects of birth (anatomy, hormones, what moves how and when/where, etc) but also your options and what to expect with those interventions. She is honest, clear, and explains things in a way that truly helps you understand what these interventions entail. Another very valuable component of this class is the interventions she teaches you - tools to advocate for yourself, how your partner can best support you, and many different ways to deal with the process of labor. The demonstrations of positions were so helpful! My first birth I wanted to go natural, but ended up saying yes to interventions that I felt contributed to a rocky start to breastfeeding and my baby having to be readmitted for hyperbilirubinemia. Thanks to this course I felt SO PREPARED. My biggest fear was that I wouldn't be able deal with the pain and say yes to interventions I didn't want and be disappointed. I went into labor naturally, delivered at a hospital and had a physiological, unmedicated birth of a healthy 8lb 10oz baby with no complications. My partner and I felt so united and prepared. We advocated for our birth plan and had the birth we had hoped for!! If you are looking for a birth class that is inclusive, honest, and truly prepares you to plan for the birth you want, TAKE THIS CLASS. I cannot recommend enough!! I'm an RN and truly learned so much through this class and process and have so much respect for the work Flor is doing to help women have the birth they hope for. Hospitals are for sick people and emergencies, and birth is not an illness. Flor truly honors the process for the miracle it is, and it shows in her work, website, personality and this class. I tried giving up multiple times. Each time, I looked at Flor and she smiled and told me I could do it. I was going on my second day in labor and Flor was with me every step of the way. She was replying to my text messages at 2:00 in the morning when my early labor stalled, she used a rebozo to help me push my baby out, Flor gave me essential oils during contractionns, she helped my husband help me through the difficult parts.
