The whole beef that my elderly parents paid for ended up being two boxes of meat. The boxes didn't even fill two shelves in a SMALL upright freezer. The hamburger smells and needs to be squeezed prior to cooking due to the copious amount of blood. This butcher should be ashamed for selling and stealing as the products is worse than the dumpster behind a Wal-Mart. After purchasing this crap, we found out that the owners "allegedly" keep the best cuts from paying customers and give them to others. Having come from a ranching family, I attest that there is NO way that a whole beef only fit into two boxes. Hands down do NOT recommend this butcher. Oh my gosh. I tried their prime rib for Christmas and it was amazing! Today I took $200 cash and an empty cooler to Doug's. I with a Prime Rib, 2 flat iron steaks, 2 chuck roasts, and plenty of hamburger patties. Fixed a flat iron for dinner and it was spectacular. This is now my go to place for meat! read more

In my humble opinion this is the finest meat cutting, meat preparing, meat house. Wether you like just burgers, theirs are fantastic, my favorite is their steaks, but my ultimate favorite is their Ribeye steak. That are phenomenal! Remember this is a meat cutting operation where you buy the meat and take it home and grill it up. Got two 6 packs of sirloin burgers at 9.50 each along with a five pound prime rib. All the meat is great especially the prime rib. We smoked it and it turned out great. Have got tired of the meat quality around town and this is the go to place. Yes a little more expensive but well worth it. read more
