I hadn't realized until entering the parking lot that it was the new building for Black Arsenal and I had in fact been to the store at both previous locations. While I have grown up with guns being used for hunting, I myself have limited experience with guns. Protection was more of our focus today when visited, but we asked questions today without yet purchasing anything. Employees are extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we asked. As the name suggests, the store tries to attract female customers. To this end they seem to concentrate on personal defense handguns and ammo. If you're new and not entirely comfortable with carrying full size guns shooting military calibers and up, the store has a lot of small pocket pistols in the recently popular and softer .380 ACP, in various colors. Naturally they also have a good selection of defense ammo in stock for that caliber. The owner has a cute and active orange tabby tomcat (named Ruger, appropriately) that loves to roam the store, jump onto the top shelves, and sneak into the glass display cases any chance he gets. I might be biased because I love cats, I find it entertaining.
