I was treated very well and given consideration of my circumstances in their busy schedule. My problem was quickly diagnosed and I was notified the replacement part would be in the following morning as it was a dealer only part. I was offered a ride to my camp site if I wanted to leave my Explorer but was camping within a mile or two and limped over. The following day I checked in and my car was quickly fixed. While waiting in the shop I observed multiple customers come in and leave after being given a friendly and professional assessment of their vehicle problems or concerns. I was actually so pleased with the service I requested to come back the following day to have a lingering AC issue addressed. I can't say enough nice things about their business.

First visit: I recently moved from Portland to Cascade Locks to be closer to my mother who is having some health issues. So, I needed another mechanic for my car. I saw that this shop got good reviews so when I thought my rear axle seal was leaking, I took it to them. It turns out my front axle seal was leaking and they said my air conditioning was leaking as well. I told them to check out the air conditioning but my priority was the axle seal. Well, they started on the air conditioning. I kept calling for updates on what was going on because they have no communication skills. They were going to charge me 800.00 for the air conditioning so I had them stop, because they hadn't even gotten to the axle seal yet. I paid them for what they had done already. I bought the sensor and the manifold and gauges for recharging the system and the coolant, which came to 100.00 and did that myself. Second visit: Melissa sent me a text that they would do the axle seal for a reasonable amount so I set the appointment for July 3rd, which she agreed to in the text. The morning of the appointment my mother had a medical emergency so at 1 am I went to Hood River. I got back home about 3 am and got an hours sleep, so I could make the appointment. My wife had taken the day off work to take me back home after I dropped the car off. I go to the shop and it is dark, no one is there and there is no notice on the door. Another customer was waiting as well and said the shop decided to take that day off. I could not believe it. No effort to contact me to reschedule, nothing. After I had made an appointment and rearranged my life, they decide to effectively tell me they don't need my business. They must have an incredible established customer base because from this treatment it seems they do not need any more customers. Well, they lost this one. I could not believe the lack of empathy, human decency or professionalism. Each person is said to influence 100 people in their social circle, I will make sure I tell everyone I can not to use this shop.

When it became obvious that my battery needed to be replaced, I didn't need drive a long distance or wait around, they were able to help me right away. As a senior woman, I felt very comfortable--no surprise charges, upsales, or mansplaining! Just good service at a reasonable price delivered by kind people. I went online to research and saw right off you need a particular code reader (OBD2) for the ford truck. I purchased one and two days later read over 20 codes on my truck. I ended up spending over $4k because after diagnoses from a diesel shop near Portland found contaminated fuel, bad and two sensors. These guys don't know jack about diesels or they are scammers.
