I called the Rahway office spoke with Patricia who provided me with the billing managers number. I called to speak to the billing manager Marife, who as per CAROLYN SEYLER was not in the office and I can call back tomorrow. Therefore, I spoke with CAROLYN SEYLER who just wanted me to pay without any explanation! CAROLYN SEYLER was yelling and said she couldnt explain the bill. When I told her I was told they could assist with breaking down the bill she continued yelling I advised her that shes being unprofessional and then she hangs up on me! How professional! Besides being rude and unprofessional CAROLYN SEYLER is obviously incompetent. I regret going to this office. I should know what I am paying for. Take my advise and do NOT support this business. I received a call from Marife who stated she is working from home today. Marife explained everything to me specifically that I haven't been charged the insoles at this time, the percentage my insurance covers and that I have to pick them up first then they submit to the insurance company. I made the payment on the balance she confirmed my email which was incorrect she stated she would make the corrections and would emailed me my receipt. I then advised her of what had occurred Marife stated she would speak to the doctor regarding my concerns. The customer service was the total opposite of what I received from CAROLYN SEYLER. They also called back to make sure I had received my receipt which I did.

I do have several problems with the practice, for one the front office staff had no idea what was going on. I needed to return to leave another urine specimen, I was told when I called that I could come at any time and didn't need an appointment, when I got there nobody knew what to do with me nobody knew how to help me nobody knew who told me I could coming anytime. It was complete chaos. Fast forward, six months have passed and I just received a bill from Robert Wood Johnson billing department. When I call the billing department my first question was why I'm being billed for services that happened six months ago. The woman on the phone told me that they're just billing for visits I'm six months ago now. I also asked why I was receiving a bill I had insurance, the woman explained to me that none of that insurance information had be forwarded to them. I told her how is that possible I was seeing by the Robert Wood Johnson MD, Why would my information not be forwarded for Robert Wood Johnson billing department. I myself and a healthcare professional and I'm very frustrated by everyone's complacency with mediocrity in the workplace. All other aspects of business require people to be accountable, I understand people make mistakes however, this is not the first time that I've been sent a bill because someone didn't sell the proper insurance information. I would rather you're be a system where I can bill my own insurance company, it's very clear that everyone else doesn't know how to write a proper number or send the correct information to get the job done. I know I'm not the only person that has to then call the insurance company or call the billing department which wastes 20 minutes to an hour of my time. Lastly no one ever did call me and tell me what the results of my urinalysis was, I had to call to obtain the information. I was leaving for vacation was given a prescription, I did not want to take the prescription unless it was certain that I had problem with my urine. I am aware that usually you are not notified unless there is a problem with your urine however with the excessive use of antibiotics I would prefer to have a phone call so I did not have to take the antibiotics.

We had well visits scheduled for our two youngest kids and called to get a sick visit for mom right after. So appointments at 3:45, 4:15 and 4:30. My wife arrived at 3:48, stood in line to register for a few minutes and then was greeted by a receptionist who told her she was late and was going to have to forfeit one of the kids appointments. This receptionist than pushed past our family to get to the nurse to tell her to only look at one child and stood in the hallway whispering about my wife (within earshot) to another nurse. My wife, who was not feeling well and was there for an appointment, began to get upset so the doctor came over. When my wife explained to the doctor that she was only a few minutes late and that she stood behind a man at the desk for a while the receptionist came over to say that she was lying! A doctors office receptionist calls a patient a liar about standing behind someone at the desk. Funny thing is, my wife knows the guys name, where he had his blood drawn, what they were testing for and when he was supposed to get his results. If she was lying about standing behind this guy, how the heck is she going to know all that. We will never go this rotten office again!
