I did not have a pcd chosen because my last dental experience was horrible and I basically have been neglecting my teeth since that visit two years ago. I'm so happy that I choose Brighter Dental. My visit on Monday was quick and to the point. I did not wait long to be seen after arriving. My xray technician was so professional and pleasant. I believe her name is Camille. She was patient and I could tell that she wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Lyons looked at my teeth and gave some recommendations. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for an extraction 2 days later. I was so nervous leading up to the procedure. I've had 3 prior extraction experiences. The two where I was awake were super painful and I was expecting it to be the same way. I was completely wrong. Dr. James Kang is the GOAT!!!. I felt nothing. He said my roots were very deep but again zero pain!! He has great bedside manners and I felt very at ease and comfortable during the entire procedure. This doctor gave me completely false news, which devistated me for the entirety of the day, up until I went to see an actual, sensible doctor. If I had followed through with the work of this office I could've been going through a life changing and possibly life ending procedure for absolutely no reason. If you would like to go to a doctor that does not know what he is talking about and will give you the shock of your life, please consider visiting this office. This surgeon did a VATS procedure on my mom. His clinical judgement decided that the lymph nodes…read moreappeared cancerous and therefore decided not to take a biopsy of the core mass in her lung. He never came and did follow up at the bedside and when he received the pathology results, he did not tell the patient or patients family and dictated them to someone. The results never got transferred to the computer. When we called him to ask him about this and the results he was the rudest doctor I have ever met and I have been an ER and ICU nurse for 17+ years. He said 'that's not my problem', he showed no empathy nor did he try to solve the problem yet he gave me a verbal diagnosis of a lymphoma over the phone. The hospital never received those final results. This surgeon is arrogant and also has poor clinical judgement. Now we have to go to Sloan Kettering to have additional testing and confirmation of a diagnosis. Not to mention, did the surgery on a Wednesday and it is now Saturday and we still have no conclusive results. His comment was 'I did my job, this is no longer my case'. I would never recommend this surgeon Just want to add on that after he told us our mom is suspicious for Stage 3 lung Cancer and then told us that it is lymphoma..the slides were not conclusive and were sent to Sloane Kettering and John Hopkins who both agreed he should have biopsied the mass if there is one. Now they are even saying, that there it is not conclusive if there is mass at all.

I was told I need to do consultation first and that will be $150. I agreed as I know all doctors have this process. I went for consultation and she advised pico laser as I already know after doing my research. When came time to schedule app I told them the only day of the month I do can not make app is the second thursday of the month as this the day I have important meeting that I must attend. Guess what? They said we rent the tool and we just get second thursday of the month. If you want services you have to come only this day. I still try to compromise if they can do 6 pm so that I can come after work and they stated they dont have. I asked if they can schedule me to any other office if the tool is available any other day in other office. They said then you have to pay consultation fee of $150 again. Why paying another fee? you got the fee from me. You are giving me just one day of the month and i m not available that day, then you are telling me I have to pay another consultation fee if you schedule me to other office of the same company. Late morning came and went so I called them and that started the afternoon run around. Nobody could give me a time and when I asked to speak with the nursing director, I got her voicemail 3 different times. At around 3:30 a nurse finally called me to tell me that my procedure had to be rescheduled!!!!! I demanded to know when this decision was made and why I wasn't called sooner? No one seemed to have an answer That evening I was speaking to a friend who called to see how I made out and as I told her the story she asked me the name of the facility and when I told her she said they did the same exact thing to her dad!! They don't care about patients or how anxious they may be or whether you've been starving all day because it seems to me that this is a common practice for this surgery center. I CANCELLED my entire procedure and had my surgery done with another doctor at a much better surgery center. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I have never heard of someone being made to stay home the day of surgery and the surgery cancelled that day! Makes no sense to me.
