My original experience was honestly the worst dental experience I've had. The dentist was new, and it felt like the team didn't have a working relationship yet. More than anything, there was a lack of compassion. I could have overlooked that if the care itself felt solid, but it didn't. The assistant who worked on my filling was rough and came across as rude. While my eyes were closed, she kept tapping my nose telling me to breathe through it so I wouldn't fog her mirror. It was all uncomfortable and unlike anything I've experienced at a dental office before. I ended up requesting a different dentist, and that completely changed things. Dr. Everhart was great. He took a far more conservative approach and had excellent bedside manner. The assistant with him was also kind and professional. That experience felt much more in line with what I expect from a dental practice. This experience showed me how much the quality of care can vary within the same office. If something doesn't feel right, don't settle. It's okay to ask for a different provider.

The receptionists, hygienists, assistants, and doctors are always friendly, considerate, and highly skilled at what they do. I declined, he sent me into another small room, into another chair, as I wait, a lady came in, wanted me to go back up front, I had to pay again, for a tooth removal. I had to pay yet again, $475.00. (850.00 in cash & credit card total) I informed them, I was not a normal patient as I needed extra lidocaine as I couldn't get numbed up by 1 shot. Doctor didn't listen as he gave me 1 shot, left the room, came in, started picking at my tooth, sent me thru the ceiling, he gave me 1 more shot, left & came back, this went on a total of 12 times. Finally pulled the tooth. The only person who was kind, was a young man who was the one to inform me, how to remove the gauze & replace it, & the lady who had taken the ex-ray. The rest of the people were RUDE. This would have been Middletown, Ohio location. Never again going here, or any Aspen dental's.
