Cream and cheese bagel

I enjoy coming here because coffe is always fresh and tasty Donuts are delicious and so are the breakfast sandwiches Customer service is amazing I feel welcome always . Every one is so friendly and helpful. The place is always nice and clean

Superb customer service! This is the second time that I have come here since discovering this little hidden gem and both times I have been greeted and served by the friendliest and most helpful employees. The donuts are fresh and the selection was great. My son who loves chocolate was happy to see there were many types to choose from. We ended up getting a dozen donuts and thankfully their price per dozen is still low compared to other places that gouge you. This will definitely be our new little spot. I also saw that they serve sandwiches, ice cream, and shakes. I will definitely have to try it out on our next visit.

Randomly grabbed these for my husband/sister's birthday and so glad I did! They have a lot of different flavors to try and I really like the variety in texture (there are more cakey ones and more doughy ones). The employees were so sweet and gave me an extra one to try one of their more popular flavors. My favorite personally was actually the orange one but I liked all of them overall :)

Lotto and Ham & Cheese croissant APR2025

Family friendly service at this popular shop near LAX. They have a few tables inside if you decide on relaxing and enjoying your sweet treats while you sip some coffee. This time around I ordered the ham & cheese croissant with added jalapenos which was pretty good. This is also Lotto central for many customers.

Good selection of donuts still available at 10:30 on a Sunday.

Solid cherry French cruller. The menu said it was $1.50 but was charged $1.75, so maybe the prices went up and they haven't updated the menu yet?

Giant Donut!

The shop is small but cute! It could use a paint job I guess, but when you're dealing with fried food you kinda want a shop that's a little weathered, cause like, if a shop is spotless, it means they're not very busy. There's never really a line here, and when there is, theres never a long wait. The parking situation is kinda weird to be honest, but everyone who comes here is in and out within a few minutes. So how are the donuts? Oh buddy, simple the best glazed donut I've had in a few years. Big, fluffy, not doughy, not over cooked, simply just a mouth melter. I'm not sure who said donuts are empty calories but ignore that: you get a real solid satisfaction from every donut here. Something they advertise that isn't mentioned enough on Yelp or Google is the Giant Donut! You need to place the order one or two days in advance, but you get to choose your icing and toppings. It's really cheap for what it is (just $15.50 as of 2024), and it's just oh so delicious. I got one for my birthday yesterday and I've just about devoured it. It's not as poofy as a regular yeast risen donut, but it's every bit as delicious. Anyway if you're alone and need a snack: come in, get a half dozen glazed, go home, and go nuts.

Apple fritters, glazed and cake doughnuts

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Really unassuming looks from the outside hide a DELICIOUS array of goodies on the inside. Here are my favs: Glazed doughnuts Cake doughnuts (melt in your mouth) Apple fritters Croissants Bookmarked in my doughnut shop list.

Harry Maple donut cake. Pls cover up when making donuts

Have been enjoying their donuts for years, today was no different until I found a piece of hair on my half eaten maple donut... ekkk. I was tempted to eat around the hair but I couldn't do it. Come on guys, please cover up, head, beard, arms when making donuts.

Manhattan Beach Creamery - 2 scoops ice cream in cup: cookie dough and sea salted caramel...delicious!

TLDR: A good stop for sweets that you know the locals love and support. I've been here a few times,…read moreand I'm yet to try a flavor that I don't like. Hand packed quart: I love that this is $15/16. In a world where pints are edging closer to $13, it's nice to still know a place that rewards you when buying more from them. I like how the ice cream looks soft enough off the scooping area that the person hand packing the quart can do it relatively quickly. Chocolate: I think it's above average, but I won't question it if you think that it's just fine. Chocolate for me has always been about finding that line of "not too sweet" and finding that hint of bitterness to get you down from that sugary high. I feel that this place finds that balance well. Ambiance: The place is dated, borderline vintage. I think they should lean into it, and I think they do. Service: Professional, quick, and what you want when buying dessert. Yes, there is a line, but it runs pretty quickly.

The young lady helping us was very patient while we tried to narrow down our ice choices. She gave recommendations and let us sample a few different flavors. Unfortunately, it didn't hit the spot. They have tons of flavors to choose from, but the ones I sampled weren't really to my liking. I decided to make an ice cream sandwich with two chocolate chip cookies and banana chip ice cream. Cute spot with lots of options, but the ice cream itself was a miss for me this time.

Le Pain Quotidien is the perfect place to start your morning before spending the day in Manhattan Beach. The atmosphere is relaxed, cozy, and exactly what you'd hope for on a sunny California weekend. The staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in and made us feel welcome throughout the entire visit. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The Eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked, the croissant sandwich was flaky and packed with flavor, and the ricotta toast with prosciutto and peaches was a combination I wasn't expecting to enjoy this much. Every dish looked beautiful and tasted just as good. But the real surprise was the Pistachio Latte. It was honestly one of the best specialty lattes I've had in a long time. I finished my first one during breakfast and liked it so much that I ordered another one to go before heading out to walk around Manhattan Beach. Great food, excellent coffee, friendly service, and an ideal location just minutes from the beach. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Manhattan Beach.
