They were the first vendor we booked after securing our venue, so we got to know them over the course of the year leading up to our wedding in August 2025. After coming across their photos when researching different potential photographers that had experience at our venue, we were very interested in meeting them. We had an initial video call with them and knew immediately that we wanted to book them for such a critical part of our wedding journey. There aren't enough words to describe how skilled and professional they are--they are amazing photographers (individually and as a duo) and clearly love what they do. Our proposal photoshoot was the only prior experience we had in terms of taking professional photos as a couple. We met them in person for the first time at our engagement photoshoot--they immediately made us feel comfortable and were seriously thoughtful about the entire process, whether it was the location choices, minute-by-minute weather changes/forecast, outfit changes, etc. It really feels like they plan for everything and care about the little details. When we asked them about another vendor they would potentially work with on the day of our wedding, they even referenced notes they made when they had worked with them for a prior wedding. Throughout the whole process, they were prompt communicators (frequently responding to an email within minutes!) and guided us with experience and patience that we really appreciated. Whenever we had something to discuss with them (including choices we needed to make as a couple), they never hesitated to give us suggestions and feedback. Even if they offered an alternative suggestion to an idea of ours, it always felt like they genuinely cared and they wanted what we wanted, and it never felt like criticism. We received our wedding photos just about 2 months after our wedding, and we love every single one of them (all 667)! They are truly the best photographers to work with and just lovely people to be around. She offers maternity, newborn and portrait sessions but I saw that she was offering mini-session, which is a 1/2 hour long photo-shoot at a pre-selected location. She will then have 10-20 images ready and available in 7 days. You can order a package or get pictures a la carte. The photoshoot is quick and easy. Contacting Kim is a breeze, she offers an easy online form to get in contact with her. She provides you with an extra touch of service by providing you with information on how to dress for the session and even suggests image displays to decorate a room. Kim is a petite woman with a warm infectious smile. She made you feel at ease immediately. She brought little silly props to get smiles out of the little one. We met at the Ralston Hall Mansion in Belmont and the session was shot outdoors. The location had great backdrops for pictures (which is probably why Kim chose the location). Denise was fantastic to work with. She was super responsive and always responded within 24 hours pretty much. We had never done any photo shoots before and she sent an email ahead of time with several great suggestions to prepare. She helped us pick a perfect woodsy location in San Francisco and even told us where to find easy parking the day of! The shoot went off without any problems. Denise walked my fiancee and I through different poses, both natural movement and some more stationary. It was easy going, sometimes funny, and we even brought a pet dog in spontaneously for a few pictures just for fun. Afterwards, she sent a follow-up email and stayed in communication all the time. We shortly got a link to pick out our favorite 25 pictures and despite us taking forever to get back to her, it only took Denise about 1-2 weeks to finish the final edits. We received beautiful, gorgeous, well-edited photos that we can't wait to share with our family and friends. Denise also gave us some black & white duplicates and threw in a couple of other photos she liked as well! Denise was just the sweetest and a very professional photographer.
