Where do I start?? Well, I had a serious tongue problem going on with me. I went to my doctor that…read moregave me this "Magic Mouthwash" that didn't work for me at all. Diagnosis: Well, I had what was called thrush. With thrush your tongue will swell and when you try to eat your tongue will burn so awful that you can't, eat. Even ice cream couldn't put that fire out. Your tongue will stay in pain and will burn. It will wake you up in the middle of the night with agony. Then you find yourself taking double the amounts of Tylenol than you're supposed to take. Dr Visit: I went back to my doctor office and come to find out my tongue has swelled 3 times more. Then they referred me to a specialist. This is the guy that handled me from that point. I did get some hydrocodone and everything I needed for the pain that helped me out a lot. The Specialist: I went there and my pain came to an end. I'm sorry I didn't take any photos, I wasn't in the right frame of mind. This guy looked at everything he needed to and probed, which was more damn painful and he issued everything that I needed. He told me that within 3 days I would feel better. Now granted, 3 days is a long time for someone in intense pain. However the pain meds from my other doctor helped me out a lot and allowed me to heal with less pain as possible. The Specialist Visit: From the time I got there, I had to sign in of course. Since that was my first visit I didn't have to bother with any paperwork. I had to answer questions on the tablet which didn't take long and paid my fee. From the time I paid my fee they called my name about 3 minutes later!! Yes it was EXTREMELY QUICK!! Now I can't help but to think was it quick that way because that's the way they operate, or was it because my doctor already called him to set up an appointment with me that day. Who knows, but I did love the time factor. Overall: If anything ever happens in my mouth again, I'm coming here to this establishment. Yes your PCP can help you with a lot of things, but now I find there's nothing better than going to another specialist who can diagnose everything that you needs it pertains to a certain part of your body.They already know which antibiotics and steroids that are needed to give you quick relief. For any of you who has any mouth pain, go to this place! He'll hook you up!!

REALLY disappointed!…read more I don't often leave reviews, but I feel the need to share one for this frustrating ENT practice. I had suspected I may have sleep apnea for several years and decided to finally get it checked out. I chose Northeast Atlanta ENT in Dacula to get their evaluation of my situation. I was given a home sleep study to complete, and I was told I needed to get at least five hours of sleep for the test to be valid. If I didn't get five hours of sleep, the office staff told me I could do a free retest. Well, I only got 3.5 hours of sleep after lying awake for a really long time. But they said based on the test results that I got 6 hours of sleep, which is simply not true. They believed the test "results" over their patient's word. I was told I don't have apnea and was offered no free retest, despite my repeated explanations that the test inaccurately indicated more sleep than I actually got, which skews the results. If you divide the number of apnea incidents that occurred in the test during the 3.5 hours I was actually asleep over 3.5 hours rather than 6, I likely do have apnea. So, after paying more than $800 out of pocket (including $40 for the staff to literally hand me the sleep study equipment and provide a two-minute explanation of how to use it) after my high-deductible insurance plan paid their small portion, I walked away with NOTHING but frustration and zero clarity on whether I actually have apnea or not. Oh, I can get a retest, they told me, but they'd have to charge me again. No thank you - not here. I have no interest in paying ANOTHER $800 for nothing. This practice is not at all concerned about my health; they are completely focused on their bottom line. I highly recommend going with another ENT practice if you want true patient-centered care that is going to accurately diagnose you. This place will leave you with empty pockets and disappointment.

He reported since the other one wasn't bothering me he would leave it. When he attempted to take it out it caused pain. When expressing interest in cleaning them out. He reported to use oil at home. Once leaving the appointment the itch continued. I went back. I asked if it was possible to get it cleaned with saline water possibly to get whatever was in there out. I was told to schedule a hearing test, try the oil, and reschedule a visit for a possible cleaning. Here is the thing in order to see a specialist I need to pay 60 dollars. Which means I would have to pay 60 dollars again. I'm most likely never going back. He prescribed me some nasal spray. And told me to oil my ears. I'm pregnant and already have trouble sleeping. I ended up with an infection and he worked with me through it and when he realized I needed more drastic intervention, he sent me to an Infectious Disease doctor and continued to work with him and get updates on my condition. I now see Dr. Preston Imhof for a vertigo/motion sickness condition and he's been great to help me out with ADA forms for work. Tip: Fill the forms out for your doctor and then have him review them. Not only does this save on time, but he doesn't know what your job is, so this helps tremendously. On my last visit he thanked me for having the forms prefilled out and all he had to do was review and sign. He said it's a huge time saver for them. It also saved me the fee for him having to fill out the form! :-)
