Then the machine kept blowing fuses. They had promised to cleaning at the end of the year, then said that I had had too many service calls because of user error. If user error is trying to turn on your pellet stove I guess I'm guilty. The company made promises that they didn't keep. They said they made multiple visits. Some were for another pellet stove, I would not purchase anything and would warn anyone to really get your fax. They told me that my stove was an entry-level stove and that my shop was unfinished, though it is insulated I had a cheap pellet stove That would heat the place better than my new machine anybody who doesn't stand behind their promises or what they do should not have a high rating in business. The pilot light would go…read moreout from time to time and if successful in getting the fireplace to come on, it was but seconds when it (and the pilot light) would go out. Within two days, Chris, their "ace" service person was at our door. He determined that the connector to the pilot light was loose - a potentially dangerous situation. He meticulously looked at each and every connection, tightened what was loose, cleaned the inside of the unit and put the fireplace back together. The work was done in a meticulous manner, quickly and efficiently. Chris even insisted on cleaning the inside of the glass screen (which in the past was my job). Well, all is good and the fireplace works perfectly! Could not ask for more nor recommend them more strongly. One doesn't find companies that work as quickly, efficiently and meticulously as was our experience. Their phone number is etched into our contact list -- we are very appreciative. He replaced multiple parts, and shortly after, my oven still would not hold a temperature. I called him, and he said he would get back to me once he had an idea of what the issue might be. I reached out a second time, spoke with him again, and he said he would get back to me. He never did. I reached out a third time and spoke with his secretary; she said he would get back to me, but he never did. This incident happened right before Thanksgiving. We gave him grace because of the holidays and hoped he would make it right, but he never did. Today, we have never heard back from him, and we would have been better off taking that money and purchasing a new stove. We were just trying to support local businesses. Save yourself the time and money, and purchase a new stove instead of going through the waste we endured.

He replaced my faulty wood stove with a great Quadrafire over the Christmas holiday 8 years ago and I have had him back ever since. Pete negotiated a return with Home Depot, but the unit is for a 2000 sq ft dwelling, mine is 980 sq ft. I am a disabled widow, I was 78 at the time, now I am 80. The cooler never worked, now it has to be replaced at great cost to the right size. The water from this unit ruined the roof around the unit, as well as throwing water all over the inside of it, rendering it useless. If I could sue them I would. Do NOT use this company, especially if you are older like me. They will not do a good job and they will take advantage of your situation. Trust me on this.
