This antique mall is really big and there were plenty of amazing things that were featured. I was impressed that they sold modern items like Pokemon cards or am I just getting old myself. We spent nearly an hour checking out everything that this place had to offer and if this is your first time here you will definitely get lost in all the treasures getting lost in a variety of rooms. The basement was probably the least interesting room that they had to offer. I did enjoy various goodies that they did have nonetheless it's also the only antique store open on Sunday too. I did enjoy their Wall of Shame at the very front. Overall, I thought this place was really good and worth checking out!

I completely understand that coming in about 10 minutes before closing isn't ideal, and I was fully aware that the store closed at 6:00. I had no intention of staying past closing time. However, from the moment we were walking in they immediately turned Half of the lights off, and we were immediately told there were "less than five minutes" left, even though there was clearly more than five minutes until closing. After that, we were repeatedly reminded that they were closing. I understand giving customers a reminder, but I don't need to be told over and over again when I'm already aware of the time. What really bothered me was that at 5:55, an employee told us that they were closing, even though the posted closing time was 6:00. At that point, I knew I only had five minutes left and was prepared to leave by 6:00. It just felt like they were so adamant about getting us out that we were made to feel unwelcome for simply walking into a business while it was still open. If customers aren't supposed to come in during the last 10-15 minutes, then the store should have an earlier last-entry time posted. Otherwise, customers who enter before closing should still be treated respectfully.

The only time to come is when the deals are going on and you have a coupon. I'm sorry to say that the days of uncovering a hidden gem for a steal of a price are gone and the other local thrift stores are not much better. These places have grown wiser to the resell market and want to make sure the prices are comparable with eBay and the like. I just drop things off and don't go in.

I smile when I read "unfriendly" in a review of CCC. They may not have the smiling style of the other places, they just have pure competent substance. They also may not be the "low price leader" in quoting a repair. But they guarantee any repair. I just brought in to them a 6 month old watch that had a hard-to-turn crown. I had taken it first to another place that told me they fixed it but that it was corroded and needed some winding to loosen it up. I discovered it was a quartz watch that needed no winding. The place unscrupulously had charged me $68 for the so-called repair. Chicago opened it up for me while I was there and found a gnarly rubber gasket that I had probably messed up myself trying to wind a battery powered watch. The technician should rightly have called me an idiot but instead just fixed it in 2 minutes, He did not want to charge me anything. I insisted on giving him at least a $20 tip which he reluctantly but appreciatively accepted. This is the kind of business I respect and will patronize again and again going forward.

They have quite a selection - great if you need a nice clock for yourself or as a gift. I took some pictures and a short video and posted them for you to see. When it was my turn, he took the watch and went in the back. It didn't take much more than five minutes for him to return with the watch working again! And the price was very reasonable, under $20. Fun store with good service.
