It sits in a strip center directly next to Highway 290 in Manor as you enter the Shadow Glen subdivision. They have plenty of books and some musical and visual media, but not a lot of clothing. There's also very little in the way of furniture and appliances. You'll find lots of knickknacks, glassware and some shoes, but that's about it. It's worth checking out since there's plenty of parking.

No answer, called again, same woman answered and gave me the excuse that they had alot of big orders come in. She said "well i can get it to you this week." I said I needed it for tomorrow Sunday Sept 7. She just responded with oh. I asked if it had even been worked on she said no. So i cancelled the order. Had i know she wouldn't even attempt to do the order with 2 weeks to do it, i wouldnt have even bothered and found someone else who would. Bad customer service. She didnt even apologize or attempt to offer a solution. Extremely disappointed and the sad part is I was doing this order to potentially do a larger order for our fan club and a larger order for our non profit fundraising. It's clear this place doesn't want my business. And before they respond with what looks like the standard form response of how embroidery and vector art takes time to complete. This was a sublimination patch which would be printing my logo that was already made and sent to them to print on a patch. The main issue here is that this place, took an order set an agreed upon deadline and failed to do the order. So either know your process times or learn to not accept orders you know you can't finish on time. But I guess I should have checked these reviews first because it seems like the smaller orders get ignored.

As I looked through much of the clothing and merchandise, it seems most of it comes from Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Bangladesh, India and Indonesia. At least the overpriced Yankee candles are made in the USA. Looking through the menswear, most of it is made in Vietnam, even the Levi's are made in Mexico in Bangladesh. The reason they get an acceptable three star rating is that everything is very well merchandised for the handful of customers in the store and the fact that they do have a Sephora. The employee working made some small talk, but she wasn't entirely personable. I feel that businesses geared mainly to our children should have employees with bright and bubbly personalities. I understand that's not always a possibility, but I do feel it makes the whole experience better for everybody. The only true con to our experience was that the story reeked of cat urine. They did have the doors open with a fan blowing out, so maybe they're aware and trying to get rid of it, I'm not sure. But it wasn't a pleasant smell at all. I'd been thinking about a hat for some time, and saw a video of a new custom hat that was shaped in a low Gus design. Where to get this done? I found Double R Hat House in a Google search and gave them a call. They were in the process of moving to their new location on Hwy 290 in Elgin.
