He's an older off track thoroughbred. Dr. Carter came out and took X-rays. She explained everything in detail and went out of her way to respond after her visit by text to any questions I had. Dr. Cayot came out to practice equine dentistry on one of my old guys. Though he explained that there wasn't much he could do with the level of tooth that remained what he did do has improved my horse's quality of life and he's put on 40 lbs at least. The routine worming and bloodwork etc have all been simple and reliable. The office staff are friendly and understanding and more than willing to go the extra mile. I've told them there is clearly a reason they have a national reputation for excellence. They are most definitely Marion County's best. I can't imagine taking my business anywhere else.

Some places may advertise that they do "this or that," but I am at the barn nearly six mornings a week and I see the care and attention Jim and Julie provide all the horses. They not only brush coats, manes and tails but, wash faces as well. All the horses look shinny and beautiful, the feed program is fantastic; my horse put on the weight he needed within the first month at Spirit Praise Ranch. I am so glad to have my horse at SPR!

The email contact prior to this point had me excited to board at what seemed like a nice barn, I did background searches on the owner, looked up her dressage judging background, but once I got to florida to check it out before my horse got there I was disgusted at the condition the horses were in and noone seemed knowledgable. I was also lied to via email, the owner Julie stated the farm was about a mile from HITS - well it was really at least 3 miles and definitely not hacking distance. I was able to see some incredible thoroughbred horse pictures from the old days along with a ton of trophy's, jockey uniforms, awards like Horse of the Year and more. I struck up a conversation with the docent Brock who informed me that Florida has produced six Kentucky Derby winners which is the most of any state or country. I am not surprised to hear this news. This association represents more than 1,300 thoroughbred breeders and owners. These people breed, raise, train and race horses born in Florida. More than 75% of Florida's horse farms are in the Ocala/Marion County. I really enjoyed my visit here and if you love horses, racing or both I encourage you to check this museum out.

I got caring and respectful help, they followed up and made sure I was taking care of myself, because my grief has been, and still is almost unbearable. They drove an hour to get my best friend and bring her to their facility. When they saw the state I was in, I got hugs. These are wonderful people. I picked up my Grace's remains yesterday. They took care of me too. Their facility is beautiful, and Dorothy helped me to the car.

I think the staff thought I was exaggerating. My dogs were there not even 24hrs and one of my dogs was badly injured escaping his kennel. Broken leg, pulmonary contusions, bite wounds, etc. I was told he never actually got out of the concrete kennel he was in but the bite wounds make me not so sure of that. Regardless he broke his leg. $3000 to just fix the leg. We're looking at 3 months in recovery and physical therapy which we were told will cost up to $5000 and possibly more if there are ANY complications. And life long issues with arthritis in the future. I do not recommend this place

I probably wouldn't have bothered to leave a bad review but the grooming experience was awful- honestly the worst groom my little dog has ever had. It's as if they started, got half way through and just quit. Not only did I have to pay for the bad groom, but now I have to pay to have it fixed.
