When I later spoke with the manager, Nicole, I was told that she had listened to the recording and that I had been "out of line." I strongly disagree with that characterization. I was not rude or disrespectful. I was a concerned pet owner trying to get help for my animal. What is most upsetting is that it felt like there was more interest in arguing with me than in focusing on getting care for my pet. The entire situation felt unnecessary and petty. A simple conversation and an appointment could have resolved everything. I left the interaction feeling as though Nicole was trying to punish me over a disagreement rather than help my dog, and unfortunately, the one who suffered from that approach was my pet. Pet owners call veterinarians because they are worried about their animals and need help, not to be made to feel like an inconvenience or to be put in the middle of an argument. Because of how I was treated, I will be taking my pets elsewhere and have requested to end my relationship with this hospital. The following day (AFTER) we had already given our dog some of the medications, we were called and were told that the medication bottle given to us had the wrong label. Luckily, the medication in the bottle was accurate, however the name listed on the bottle was Benadryl but it was actually a controlled opioid-like substance. THIS IS A GROSS MISTAKE. On top of it they asked us to return to get the label fixed and then proceeded to try and charge us the difference in the medication cost... What a poorly run facility. We are lucky they even gave us the right medication at all, this type of negligence could be disastrous. If taking your dogs here be warned and i would triple check with the vet themselves on what should be prescribed, make sure it matches the name given by the front desk staff, and don't be afraid to question everything because clearly it's needed.

We lost our beloved "first born" in the early morning hours. I called CPC around 2AM, and they are truly 24 hours! The secretary passed me on the the after hours Director who called back quickly. Both ladies were very empathetic and caring. The Director confirmed the Gainesville location and was transparent on cost options. By 4AM, their mobile service arrived at our house in rural North Florida. The gentleman was dressed in professional mortuary attire complete with shiny black shoes. My husband and I were very impressed and appreciative on how respectful and reverential he was with the transport process. He communicated multiple times before and after service. He even asked permission that he may have to trim Radar's nails for the paw print as that was his responsibility to complete. They called us later that same day (less than 24 hours) to let us know we could pick up our cremated loved one. It appeared there were a few more options in store than what I discussed with the Director for the memorials. Considering my emotional state, I appreciated the 3 choices on the phone! The wooden rose box is gorgeous and well crafted, and the paw print was done very well. What sets them apart is the certificate of cremation confirming that Radar was respectfully cremated individually. That was very important to us. Again, the staff were exceptional at pickup. As a gift, they included the Rainbow Bridge poem with remembrance wildflower seeds. My husband and I cannot thank you enough! This has been a very tough journey. He constantly wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the process & our choices. He called us a week later & we were able to coordinate a time to pick up. We were running 30 minutes late & he was so nice & understanding. We purchased our own urn, but he had options to purchase there if you wish. He offered to transfer the remains in the back in case we were uncomfortable. We opted to do it with him & the remains had a sweet tag that Wayne said was on our baby during the entire process. While driving home, I had to pull over on the side of the road for two hours because I was crying while explaining to my daughter how much he gave me of my cats fur. When my daughter reached out to ask why no more fur was given he was very defensive and told her that he wasn't given specific instruction on how much fur to get. I also requested a nose and paw print, which turned out awful. He upgraded the box that the remains came in most likely out of guilt because he did not give me other things I asked for.
