Before starting services with Devon I had nearly an hour phone call with her to make sure her dogs would get along with my dogs since I needed doggy daycare; she said that her dogs bark but that's it. I said I was specifically concerned with her miniature Aussie because the breed is territorial; she reassured me. When Pumpkin (her mini Aussie) met my little dog she attacked him. Prior to that, on a dog visit to my home, she brought her mother to my property without permission and I had to return home because my other dog was scared of someone she had not met on her turf; I had to coach Devon to gain back her trust. I kept giving Devon many chances and even gave her feedback I needed more consideration. Well, after prepping me that she would be out of town most of February and telling me her personal life, like "my brothers birthday and I will be a bridesmaid", she canceled last minute with NO explanation. Then when I mentioned this doesn't work for me she told me that *I* was being disrespectful and should understand her aunt is sick. I find her emotionally immature and that she tends to gaslight to make things seem different than they are. She attempted to despite a check of mine after I told her I stopped payment (clearly she does not respect her clients) and then told me if I didn't pay her for the daycare she would bring me to court (despite the check already being in her mailbox)! I do not recommend working with her as I need someone who has empathy and is considerate and reliable and professional, considering I told her I have my own health issues!

I had taken in an abandoned dog, a pitbull mix, who was young but adult size and 56 pounds. He was not fixed so had scheduled him for neutering, but it would take some time. It was fine, I could not spend time with him because he was attracted to my leg, to take him out in the backyard was off could do. He was well behaved. However, the backyard neighbors have been away with their dogs in the head come back on a Saturday. Starting Saturday night, after being in the backyard when the other dogs were backyard, he started really hyper. And Sunday he just won't be berserk, he somehow got out of a closed door room, he had scratched the door had put a hole in the wall. He chased after my cats, and he was going on the tables and I just couldn't control him. I called different places, thinking I had to get rid of them right away for my cats. It was a Sunday night so I had no luck. Until I called North Florida K9 Behavior Center and luckily, he answered the phone. He was a godsend. He calmed me down because I was hysterical. Gave me great information about neutering and what to expect after you neuters. He also gave me a lot of great psychological canine behavior, tips and information explain so much he helped me get a plan together, which I was too hysterical otherwise to have done without him. It set a plan to put Teddy in the garage with the cage, and to keep him away from the cats, meaning I would take him directly from the garage, the backyard and not to the house. he called me down enough to realize that the neutering process would help a lot, and that it was OK to keep him in the garage for now for his safety safety of my cats and my sanity. I literally don't know what I would have done without him. Teddy is still waiting neutering so after Teddy has that procedure, and finishes his vaccine boosters, our plan to call him again. You can't go wrong with a person who's so understanding, so calm, know so much about any more behavior and psychology, someone who takes the time out of their off time to help deal with a hysterical person, which she did not have to do. I highly recommend his services.
