We were lucky not to get in an accident. We drove 4 miles to the freeway exit, driving 20 mph. We pulled into a truck stop and realized we had a gaping hole in our tire. We immediately called Triple A. Two hours later, we were still sitting in the car in 28 degree weather with snow on the ground. Triple A was just giving us the runaround and we needed to act fast, because the tire store was closing soon. We called Robert at Deuces Towing, and he arrived in 15 minutes. Not only did the tow truck arrive ( driven by his son) Robert arrived in his OWN vehicle to drive us to the tire store. Talk about 1st Class Service. We are so grateful for this company.

We searched the area in the morning, finding A-J Tires, and saw they had good reviews so we decided to take a chance. We only needed one tire and Yolonda and Mario worked with us to pick the right one and have it installed to continue our journey. They not only gave us a great deal due to our plight, they didn't try and upsell us on a complete set since the other 3 were still in great shape. I listened to them deal with other customers and they treated everyone with the same respect and caring they treated us. Mario also let me know of a program the State of New Mexico has to reimburse for destroyed tires and damage! I am going through the process now and it looks like we'll get the tire and hotel costs reimbursed. We never would have known of the program otherwise. I cannot say enough good things about A-J Tires, I wish they were closer as they'd get all my business. They are top-notch people with very fast service. More businesses could learn from them.
