The grass never came up despite watering it exactly like Joe told us to. He kept telling me to be patient that it would come in, never did and he refuses to stand behind the warranty he provided us. They came out and winterized (supposedly) our irrigation, but the lines froze and we had a lake in our yard. I've called the office several times, even Joes personal cell phone, and haven't heard a response from him in over 6 months. Joe has a horrible temper and would yell at my wife and I that we didn't know what we were talking about and that he was the "professional." He also gave us a estimate/signed contract to do the work, but when it was all done, the cost increased by $4300.00. He told me that was cost of material and labor inflations since signing the contract. Also, while his crew was working on our home, they were smoking marijuana at various times throughout the day. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!!

We've decided not to move after all so we'll always work with Dean's!

The rock steps and stone used on the sidewalk blend perfectly with the existing stone on our front porch. The rock is very thick, and should hold up with the sand base, despite our Michigan winters. The freeze/thaw cycles were separating the rock from the cement on our previous walkway. Jay and Fischer did the renovation over a period of three days. They were meticulous in removing the existing steps and sidewalk, cutting the new stone, leveling it out, and cleaning up after. They even added a few additional decorative stones to the sides of the steps! Dennis, the salesperson, was great about getting back with us about the estimate, and showing up at our house with the workers at the stated time.

I would also, question the drivers CDL creditionals. Perhaps a visit from law enforcement would be approprate to ensure all docs, insurances, and CDL's are valid and up to date with the company and drivers? Keep your head on a swivel if you see Daryl franticaly driving while jonesing for a vape in a big Traverse Outdoors truck! You may not be so lucky as to escape with a middle finger in your face. It was installed twelve years ago, so a newer model was probably needed, but I had no idea what that should be. I didn't know how adjust it to get the degrees of arc I required. Sure, I did a hitch in the USN. But though the Navy said they'd teach me everything I'd ever need to know, they never mention sprinkler heads in boot camp and "A" school. Fortunately the Lautner Lady found the product I needed, and patiently explained how to get it to do what was needed. I just installed and tested it; it works fine. My wife no longer thinks I'm completely useless.
