I cannot say enough good things about our experience for 6 anglers yesterday. First off let me preface this review by saying I have been on a lot of fishing trips with various companies throughout the southeast and Texas. I know what makes for a really good guide and these guys are it. Let me explain. I had a few people in our group that hadn't done this type of fishing at all so I was hesitant when I got the report of 3-5 seas with the wind picking up. A few boats on the radios reported it a little worse than that. Normally a fishing guide will ask at the launch if you want to go out or skip the trip. Once you step foot on the boat your money goes hard. No changing your mind. BUT these guys are different. They offered to run us out 10 miles (since an 8 hour trip takes you out 25) to see what it was like BEFORE you had to decide. That was it for me, even before getting out to that check point I was hooked (see what I did there?) on these guys as true pros. We got to the check point, had a quick discussion amongst ourselves and out to sea we went. We caught fish. We caught big fish. We caught a lot of them. We actually limited out on Grouper. Simply put I cannot recommend these guys enough. If you're in the area and want a different experience than the ole party boats give these boys a shot.

On a whim, we decided to see if there were any afternoon charters available for 6 of us? We approached Mike (I think was his name, I'm terrible on names!) the Captain, who was onboard, and he told us the afternoon was open. What the heck, 6 of us took him up on it. Left at 1pm, dropped our first hook at 2pm. 3 hours later, a few cold beers, and some tired arms, we called it a day. Mike, was the man! Had a cooler full of ice ready, rods all set up, and worked his A$$ off to make sure we had fun! From baiting up, getting the catch off our lines, to finding the fish! Only thing bad, Grouper season ended y'day and we didn't know it, so we had to toss back the 3 nice ones we brought in. However, we did fill a cooler of keepers! Everyone on our boat caught a fish actually 10 or more unless you were asleep. This is the number one for fishing in Clearwater. We arrived a little early and Capt Andrew put the boat in the wind. The boat was clean and orderly. They had a large cooler for drinks we brought on board as well as complementary water. Once we anchored, we immediately started catching. Once the bite slowed up, we moved to another spot which was hotter then the first. Although we caught more releases then keepers, we still came to the dock with a large cooler full of fish. After we docked, the crew cleaned and fileted every fish we caught. I absolutely recommend Captain Andrew for your charter trips. I highly recommend the 8 hour or 12 hour trip!

I was very pleased with how well Captain Randy communicated and provided additional insight. Upon closer to the time for our day I had a follow up conversation with Cassie who provided even more information that brought comfort not only to me but my guests as well. They provided a cooler with ice and water as well as numerous floats and shelling bags. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. Our captain for the day was Jordan and she was Spectacular with keeping us on time and showing us around. We did a 4 hour boat tour but were able to have time on the slide and visit two islands. Our captain navigated us well and took us to the best spots to see dolphins and a nice quiet private beach. Then he showed us the perfect spot to stop and take a ride on the slide.
