I think, if you should find yourself in the same position here or elsewhere, it's important to talk it out. I'm so glad that I did. When I first felt offended, I planned on giving an angry one or two star review, which wouldn't have been fair considering the otherwise great service and considering how nice Kat and the other folks at Crabtree reallt On to the car side of things: they thoroughly checked my car and quickly fixed the main issue. They also found other issues that needed to be addressed and got those fixed at a reasonable price (I did find ~$130 a bit steep for installing a Prius 12V battery but then again I didn't want to do it despite having the ability, so I'll consider it fair). They found an issue that I couldn't afford to fix just yet but they did explain it to me and let me know how I could prevent it from becoming an even bigger problem -- and better yet, they didn't try to pressure me into spending money I don't have to fix it. All in all, it was a great experience at Crabtree and I will definitely take my car here again.

Yes, I came in with only a couple of items that needed to be repaired, but left with having other items worked on. Once they have done a diagnostic check on your vehicle they give you the awareness of the different things that need to be serviced. No, this is not a scare tactic, because you decide to repair the items or not. They will have pictures to show you what the current condition is like my brakes, they were not making any noise, but they were at a critical state that left unrepaired and waited until it was making screeching noise I was in for more expensive repair. I like the fact they give me the option on to fix or wait until I'm ready. There approach is not a hard sell, I like Kat approach to the repairs. One one of my cars, they heard a rattling noise in the heater box area and it turned out where I was living in middle desert in so ca, I had left my car parked in the open for 5 months and a mouse / rat decided to make my heater box it's new home. I had them fix the issue and it also explained why I was having sinus issues whey driving the car for extended periods of time. I appreciate they found the issue and I gave them the go head to fix it.

I had found a car that looked awesome but it was 70 miles from my home. Tony answered the call and said he could be there the next day to do the inspection. He arrived on time and was professional and courteous to the people selling the car. He has worked on two different vehicles for me, and his business will be greatly missed when I move out of the area. His rates are reasonable, and I can always trust him to tell me straight up what my vehicle needs without trying to upsell crap I don't need. I have also sent a few people to him that did not know much of anything about cars and he took care of them properly too. He always listens to what I need. With the first car, I wanted it to be reliable for as cheap as possible. I want my current car to only have premium parts in it, and he repaired and maintained each vehicle accordingly. When something is wrong, he is more than willing to show you rather than be "keep out of the work area now pay XXXX dollars". He has done many different types of jobs for me including: maintenance, brake jobs, electrical work, replacement of broken parts such as water pumps and radiators, exhaust work, oil changes, etc. He even lowered my car for me, redoing the complete suspension with parts I provided. Furthermore, on more than one occasion he has picked up my car for me in Corvallis, and dropped it off at the close of business for larger jobs. Was driving through with a teardrop trailer when the hitch popped off and I swerved off the road…read more The wheels on the trailer were bent at alarming angles and untowable. I called around trying to find a place that could repair it so we could continue our road trip, and settled on this place. Jason was very understanding and did his best to come up with the fastest solution, which still ended up taking a week due to the part they needed. That news was very dismaying, and I thought maybe we could just take the busted trailer home and get it repaired there. Jason then went above and beyond, calling around for places we could rent something to carry our busted trailer home instead of waiting around in Albany. Being such a small town, nothing was available. We finally decided to suck it up and let them fix it here. He then began calling around for places to stay that allowed dogs. Such a nice fellow! Very attentive despite his hectic work schedule and people constantly demanding his attention. When we finally got the trailer back a week later, it was good as new! Great work. Kudos also goes to Nick, who dealt with me bugging on the phone about getting the thing fixed sooner and complaining that it was taking too long. He remained patient and calm, despite my obvious frustration. Also to their trailer repair guy (Todd??
