But with Martinos, it's a toss up, if the crust is better than the tangy tomato sauce, the lovely cheese and the spiced perfectly pepperoni. I found myself imagining I was in Rome, at some 100 year old famous pizzeria, just adoring this pizza. The place is simple, small, and they focus on service and delivering the most exquisite pizza I have even had in Oakville, or frankly in GTA. I would rather drive to their restaurant and pickup a pizza in a snowstorm or torrential downpour, than just order any pizza I have ever had before, to be delivered. .... It's that good. Fairly priced, delicious and can't wait to go back.

Worth it for sure. Spicy Italian: if you like salami and banana peppers, you would love this. It was the perfect amount of heat without taking away from the flavour of the sauce and dough. Peach: I was very hesitant because I'm on team "pineapple does not belong on pizza" but this was wonderful. Peach, prosciutto, balsamic and goat cheese. This is a white based pizza! Hot tip ask for parmesean too so it's more cheesy. Pazucchi: green olives, broccoli, zucchini. If you love greens perhaps this is for you. I personally liked this one the least because I enjoyed the mix of the other flavours more. But it wasn't bad if I added their homemade garlic dipping sauce! I think I'll head back here for pickup again soon and try some other interesting pizzas!

So we stopped by to pick one up today. We got a large thin crust pizza - pepperoni on the whole thing and ham on half. Also got an order of salt & pepper wings. And they definitely exceeded our expectations! It was the kind of thin crust that droops down, and is nice and oily. This is how I love my pizza to be! The ingredients were fresh, cheese nice & stretchy, and a perfect amount of sauce. The wings were also really good - a little toasty and super tasty. Service was also great. Very polite and friendly! Like I said, a little out of our way, but totally worth the trip. We'll definitely be back!

5 star may skew a little on the high end, but I'd lean this way more than 4 stars…read more Funny enough, I have never tried Blondies pizza, though they're well known from starting in Leslieville years ago and now expanding in a few other locations. We were meeting my parents who are in Halton and were wanting pizza, and this came up on the search. It's actually quite a large space, which may surprise some. There's a couple long tables on one side that could seat up to 12 people. And then there's several tables that seat up to 4 people on the other side. And they are set up for dine-in even more than I expected as the pizza was served on the elevated trays when it came out, along with proper dinnerware (non disposable). It's a total guess, but I feel it may be called Blondies since about half their pizzas are on a white sauce. In spite of that, we went with two large pizzas made with red sauce. One with pepperoni, mushroom and olives, and the other (Don't think, sparkle!) with salami, sausage and bacon. We also ordered hot wings and the kale caesar salad. The pizza came out super quick, so it really is the NY style, high heat pizza. All the toppings were great quality, including the mushrooms which were whole button mushrooms rather than just diced. About every single person commented on how the crust was. A crunch base, but also nice and chewy, and the end crust was so tasty that it was a joy to eat itself (well, with some of the great dip). There were 6 of us, and it exceeded expectations for everyone, and may kids even ate more than they typically do. The wings were good and worth ordering, but didn't stand out too much. I really liked the kale caesar salad, as did my dad, but you do of course have to enjoy kale. Coming to the end of the review, I'm not even sure saying 5 stars is generous. It's pretty deserving and not far off the top of my list.

I made it my mission to find a great pie in Oakville that didn't come from a chain restaurant, and…read moremy search stopped after trying Fantastico's. As an aside, my search was motivated by an extreme hatred for Pizza Pizza. As a Raptors fan, I was always infuriated that Raps fans at the ACC were more interested in cheering for their free slice of cardboard when the team scored 100 points than the home team winning the game. Plus, I believe that people who like this product (I refuse to call it pizza) have taste like an onion. Anyways, having said that, I believe that Fantastico's is the anti-Pizza Pizza, in that it is delicious. The toppings are fresh, the crust is seasoned and flavorful, and the sauce is tasty as well. Plus, it is cooked in a wood burning oven. In fact, the whole kitchen is open concept as these guys have nothing to hide and everything happens right in front of your very eyes. It is quite obvious this restaurant is proud of their pies. The service here is also top notch. The staff on the phone are very polite, and welcoming. The staff in store also make you feel like a valued customer. Very hospitable. All around, a great experience. Oakville as a town has strange taste, for the most part, and seems to love chain restaurants. This makes it all the more rewarding to find an independent place with a product far superior to the chains. Fantastico Pizza, I salute you!

No employees were seen. But eventually, a sour-faced girl returned from the back with a pizza for the loud talker. I just turned around and walked out. Sorry I didn't get to try the food. But not that sorry.

We arrived around 11am on a long weekend and they had plenty of tables available, but by the time we were leaving, all the tables were full. You need to order your food first and get seated after. Coffee refill was a challenge for us, since we had to go through all other tables and wait for the staff to refill our coffee, and even there were times they were out of milk and had to drink our coffee black. We ordered "Key West Eggs", "Crepe au Fraises", "Slow Roasted Lamb" and "Canadian Peameal Back Bacon". Our food was delicious and we would love to go back and try more of their menu items. The Balsamic Chicken (with bacon, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, spinach and pesto aioli) was fantastic, and had excellent flavours. The side dipping sauce was delicious. The Florence St. Sandwich (with tomatoes, artichokes, Asiago and sun dried tomato pesto) was good, but I didn't enjoy the flavours as much so would probably try something different the next time. I would have preferred to select my own bread since the ciabatta and panini was hard to cut through with a knife - it got messy. It would have been better if it was cut in half before being served to the customer to make it easier to eat. After ordering from the counter, there was sign to wait to be seated. Service just to get seated was extremely slow. In the end, we asked someone if we could seat ourselves, which we did. The food was then brought to the table, but it was confusing since we had to get up again to go to a different counter to put cream and sugar in our coffee. Although the portion size of the chicken and ingredients were good, the sandwiches were pricey considering there was no table service, and seating was disorganized. It would be difficult to host large groups or families here. It would have been ok to reduce the amount of chicken to cut costs and price since there were two thick layers of meat. Ambiance was good.
