I brought my dress to Carole, who was recommended by the bridal shop, and she was an absolute pleasure. She fixed the neckline beautifully and, while working on the dress, also noticed that the original bustle had been poorly done and was likely to break. Only 1 button for all that fabric (right where my bottom hits the chair), I mean come on! Carole fixed it beautifully with a French bustle. Before and after photo below. What I appreciate most is that she was willing to take on someone else's work and fix it, even though I had originally passed on her because her quote was higher. This is a fantastic boutique wedding pop-up…read more Hidden on Dickerson Road off Keystone Avenue in Reno near the Truckee River, the place was like a fairy tale with lush green scenery, tall trees that practically enclosed it within its grotto. It boasts a beautiful cascade and these tiny bridges that took you along a path of their garden oasis to then view the Truckee. The seating was adequate, maybe it could accommodate up to100 people. It had small almost hut like buildings for lack of a better word which served as a bar area where drinks were served, seating for dining and 2-3 places specifically designated for couples to take great photos, but the grounds itself was plenty. It's one of those places I'd say, it doesn't feel like Reno, it's what you would come to expect from spots that feel like you go on a vacation without leaving town. No pictures here, simply to honor the bridge, groom and their guest, but look up The Hytch and check it out. Maybe refer a couple that's been in a holding pattern forever. It's sure to change their mind.

Where to start!?…read more Well, first of all, this review is far overdue. I had the most beautiful wedding on December 28, 2019. I hired Stephanie and A Daydream Wedding about three months prior to my wedding date. Initially, I thought I would be able to organize the perfect wedding all on my own. I quickly learned that I am not cut out for that and I would need some assistance. I was worried that it was too close to the wedding to hire a planner, at that point. But, I went ahead and emailed ADW and Stephanie PROMPTLY replied to my inquiry. I was communicating with a couple of planners simultaneously so figure out who I felt would be the best match and Stephanie stood out among the rest EXPONENTIALLY! She was so comfortable and easy to talk to right off the bat. She was quick with her responses, and I really felt that it was important to Stephanie to get to know ME and what my personal preferences were. Throughout the entire process, I felt like the services were tailored to me, and I wasn't being served based on some generic template. Everything about Stephanie's services felt so personalized. Let me also mention that I am in remission from leukemia, and I had recently had a bone marrow transplant. So my energy is quite low and my memory is nowhere near "good." Stephanie was so patient with me throughout our time together. She was kind in reminding me of dates and keeping me on track with scheduling, which is SO helpful for someone like me. It was important for me to work with someone understanding and patient, and I found that in Stephanie. Stephanie constantly reassured me that we would be able to work with the time given and she worked extremely hard to find me the best vendors that fit my specific needs and most importantly - BUDGET! Throughout the course of our work together, Stephanie would keep her eye out for decor, desserts, vendors, bridesmaids dresses etc. that would be of interest to me and would text / email suggestions regularly. Even if you have no idea where to start (with anything), Stephanie has a full arsenal of beauticians, DJ's (SHOUT OUT TO DJ BERNIE!), photographers, bakeries, decor rentals... the list goes on! She is well equipped and a true professional in her craft. The day of the wedding, Stephanie was sure to make sure I was thoroughly taken care of. She checked on me throughout the day to ensure all my needs were tended to, she picked up on queues (for instance, she noticed the guests were hounding the head table and had the DJ make a little announcement so my new husband and I could sit to enjoy dinner), and she kept everyone and everything on schedule to the minute! I came in with my newborn son and my mom, and after waiting a few minutes without being acknowledged we walked up to the front desk to ask for help. A staff member assisted us and showed a few bands. When I found one I liked, I asked if it could be made in yellow gold. She said she would check with the vendor and offered to clean my engagement ring so I could look at the bands with my clean ring. After a few minutes, she returned with my ring, and when I asked to try on another band, she told us she was now helping someone else and couldn't assist us further.This was surprising since she had been helping us the entire time up to that point. I was ready to move forward with purchasing a ring but never received an answer about pricing and was told no when I asked to see another option. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

They are so kind and nice, and incredibly talented when it comes to event design. I told them the color scheme I wanted, and told them I wanted unique flowers--not your typical bouquet of roses or anything too boho. They did the most eclectic and colorful set up for our elopement. Absolutely stunning! For our party, they were also able to hang some different colored curtains on the booths and bring in games like giant Jenga. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that there seemed to some communication points missed between people handling different requests (which were always quickly rectified on follow-up), and on the day of the party, one of the games we planned for was double-booked accidentally. No regrets at all about hiring them!
