After speaking to an Apple tech, who advised I get a new phone because my version 11 phone has only half the capacity of the newer phones out there because "the upgrades require more just to run the phone" and since I can't afford one at the moment, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill ! Right as I walked in the door, the man took my phone and started repairing at his counter. He was done within 20 minutes and applied a screen protector at no charge. Not gonna lie, I felt pretty bored those 20 minutes without my phone, and realized how crippled I was without my mobile connection to the world... sad truth.
