I want to share my experience so others know what to expect. When the roofing work started, the lack of professionalism was obvious. There was little to no preparation--no tarps were laid down, and debris was scattered all over my yard. I recently had landscaping done, and it was frustrating to see roofing materials, nails, and trash . Even after the job was "completed," cleanup was incomplete. I'm still finding roofing debris in my backyard, on my grill, and even on my smoker. They also damaged my outdoor lamps and didn't bother to fix or properly replace them. To make matters worse, they left behind leftover materials, including a large box of nails and roofing liner. Oh and because they had little care for prep my dog's water/food bowls had material thrown on them. If I wasn't paying attention they would of ingested that stuff. As someone who grew up around roofing (my father is a roofer), I can say this level of carelessness is not normal--it's sloppy.
