After…read moreanalyzing the data from those results and taking a personal history, a protocol for IV treatment was established. A supplement regimen and a diet were added. After four treatments, I felt like myself again. Now we are four months into treatment and I am off of the prescription anti-inflammatory drugs, the nerve blockers, and the pain killers that have been a daily requirement for over a decade since my rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. Even though I have always been health conscious, eating clean and exercising, this treatment has restored my quality of life. No more down days spent exhausted and laid out in pain. I no longer lie awake at night in excruciating pain and no longer suffer debilitating neuropathy. I am returning to my over-achieving former self. I do my part with diet, exercise, and sleep maintenance. Dr. Iduna does her part by listening to my needs and adjusting treatment. The office is convenient and comfortable. My only regret is not pursuing this treatment a decade ago and avoiding the minefield of prescription drug side effects and lost functionality.

I recently moved to the area and was referred to Dr. Michael Douglas by my primary care physician…read more I came in hoping to continue a TRT treatment plan I've been stable on for the past 8 years, but Dr. Douglas had a very different approach that, in my opinion, puts my overall well-being at risk. Beyond that, the experience with the office itself has been incredibly frustrating. At my first appointment, I waited over an hour and a half past my scheduled time. My second appointment was canceled due to the doctor being sick, which I understand happens, but then at my third visit I was seen by a PA who told me I needed to reschedule again to see the doctor directly. Communication has been the biggest issue. Portal messages go unanswered, calls are not returned despite multiple attempts, and even a pharmacy fax regarding an incorrect medication dosage has remained unaddressed - resulting in a lapse of medication for almost 2 weeks now. Given that this office is an hour drive each way for me, the lack of responsiveness and continuity of care just isn't sustainable. I'll be seeking treatment elsewhere with a provider who takes a more individualized and attentive approach.

During my recent annual physical, she briefly asked me about my asthma, which I reported was stable and even improving. She then renewed my existing prescription, and we moved on. I was shocked to later receive a separate charge for an office visit based solely on that brief conversation. I am a relatively new patient and was not aware this was their billing practice. My previous doctor never charged me for this, so I will be returning to them as a patient. I also called the office for clarification, but unfortunately Dr. Abraham has not returned my call. In summary, if you have a minor medical condition that requires an annual prescription renewal, do not seek care at Rocky Hill Family Physicians.

They are beyond caring of just a "patient". Above and beyond seems to be distant from what I would have to be expected in the diagnosed tumors I had in my frontal lobe of my brain. I have been resting at home for most of the week after released from UT Medical. Also been amazing. I do have some difficulties still at home but they are on top of it with me reaching out from home and with not just needs medically but for me. Peace of mind. It's a slow process but I feel they have so far saved my life more ways than 1. I say thank you very, very much and I am an advocate from here on out!!! Thanks guys!!!!

Premier got me in for a consult, set me up for an ultrasound and a follow-up consult in which they told me I had venous insufficiency, blood was back flowing down my leg but also lymphoedema, blood was leaking though the thin walls into my foot/ankle. Their plan was to refer me to a local physical therapy business for compression/massage treatment and training to eventually do this myself. I was told I would be contacted by them in a couple of days. Over 2 weeks have passed and no one has contacted me. I've left messages for the PA. that saw me but no one answers the phone or returns calls. They've already billed me for the 2 consults; that office communicates well. I can't get a shoe on that foot, I can't do much of my job at work, I can't do work I need to do at home. I researched and bought a compression sleeve to help but it hasn't. The pain is constant and at times severe. I'm afraid I'm going to lose my leg but I can't even get a call or a person to answer the phone. I've spent hundreds and have gotten nothing; it's all about the money for them. No compassion, no sense of urgency, no professionalism.

Another different test to do? Disability paperwork filled out) This man made everything so difficult for me that I would have panic attacks and not be able to open his secure message responses to questions I asked for days. Because the answer was always "no" or him doubting me or making this process of trying to get something complicated diagnosed even harder by making me argue for every single thing. Like filling out short term disability paperwork when I was going on FMLA leave. Everything was already hard and he made it harder. The most recent time, when I called to ask their office manager what to do when the doctor can't help, I got a certified letter from Dr French firing me. Dr French wants to do the basic work and then go home and not think about his job or his patients. I kind of think he wants to not think about his patients when they're in the room too. He can play like he listens and play a good doctor, but when it really matters, he'll let you down every single time.

Dr. Joshua Clark-Fuqua really went out of his way to provide individualized care, and I never felt like just another appointment on the schedule. He took extra time to address all of my concerns, and he offered referrals with both personal and professional insight so I had options that actually made sense for my situation. He's very personable and easy to talk to, and he never talks down to you. I've learned over the years that the best physicians understand that communication goes both ways, and he really creates an environment where you feel comfortable advocating for yourself and having honest conversations about your health. As a gay man in the South, finding a doctor who is respectful and understanding of my experiences isn't always easy, but I felt completely comfortable and never felt judged or self-conscious. That makes a huge difference when you're trusting someone with your health and need to be able to communicate openly. I highly recommend Josh. And honestly, I look forward to the day I'm no longer his patient - because I'd gladly buy him a drink just to chat. He seems like a genuinely good human being, and that's not something you can say about every doctor.
