I had entire lawn redone because of drought and needed more topsoil added and hydroseeded. After…read morelawn started growing back it looked worse than before. 40% of my yard was weeds and Johnsongrass. Topsoil had a lot of clay in it. Had to pay a lawn service several hundred dollars to help kill Johnson grass and other weeds. Lot of areas built up with topsoil are still bare. I contacted contractor and was told they did everything they were supposed to do. Also had them come again and repair where cable line was buried. It looked no better when they did this than when line was buried. So far I have spent almost $8000 dollars and still have to aerate the lawn and reseed hoping next year will grow back.
