I accidentally included an additional item in my return package and contacted customer service immediately to explain. I had intended on exchanging this item for a smaller size, but saw that they did not have the item in a smaller size. And accidentally left it in the return. I asked that they either return the item to me or issue a refund once they confirmed they had received it. Instead, I was told that because the item wasn't submitted through their Returns Portal, it could be considered "ineligible" and would be "donated". I understand that the mistake was mine, but I don't understand why the company couldn't simply return the item or process a refund. This response was disappointing, especially as a first-time customer, and showed very little understanding or willingness to help.

My coworker and I dropped by the store this afternoon to purchase some earrings. I needed to replace a broken pair, which I had purchased at this very store some years ago. As we were browsing around, we were followed around the store the entire time we were there. Mind you, none of the non-black patrons were being followed. To avoid being in the store longer than necessary, I asked for assistance to locate what I was looking for. I go over to that section and once again, here comes a store worker, acting as if she had to put product on the shelf in the same area and at the same time I was there. She did the exact same thing in a different aisle that we were in a few minutes prior. She did not to provide assistance or ask if I needed some help, her sole purpose was to keep a watchful eye as if I was there to steal something like a common thief. This was the same woman who was following my coworker and I. Never, in my 56 years on this planet have I ever been treated so poorly! I will never again patronize this store! Both cameras worked when I handed them to him to repair, and wasn't working 20-minutes later when he gave them back. He said it would cost $15 each to replace the cameras on the phones to make them operational again. I declined --and that was 3 months ago. Last week the front of the phone fell off because I guess the glue got old in 3-months, and I saw the reason the camera didn't work. There was a bunch of dust on the camera lens. I cleaned the camera lens, then took the phone to be re-glued at a different repair place. My camera now works on that phone. CommCentral was trying to scam me out of $15 on each phone, when all they would've done is wiped away dust --and how did it get dusty? I don't like dealing with shady people, so I'd never let them touch any of my phones again.

Kinokuniya is a great, authentic spot for those who love all things Japanese. From manga, anime,…read moreanime goodies, anime soundtracks, art books, CDs, novels, gundams, language books, and even cute stationary. If you like to collect manga and want to see a huge variety of selections, this is the place. I really like that they also have a selection of manga in Japanese! The art book aisle is awesome. It's hard to find art books in other bookstores, and even places like Barnes and Noble won't have a selection as varied as Kinokuniya. Despite the endless aisles of manga, I've surprisingly noticed that they're missing a few decently known manga. Unless I keep missing it, I've never seen The Case Study of Vanitas in their aisle, but they have the author's other work, Pandora Hearts, in there, for example. I would also say Kinokuniya is limited with their selection of anime goodies. I like that they're all very much authentic and different from your typical anime store selling pop figures and easy to find Bandai/Banpresto stuff, but their blind box selections are also becoming easy to find in other places because it's all the mainstream shows.
