The store was spotless, beautifully organized, and immediately welcoming. As soon as I walked in, Mr. Mike greeted me warmly and offered assistance, then personally guided me to the men's running shoe section. I found a fantastic selection of discounted running shoes and ended up purchasing two pairs. When I needed help finding the perfect fit, both Ms. Bailey and Mr. Mike went above and beyond--taking the time to help me choose the best shoes for my feet at an incredible price of $39.99 each. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine eagerness to help made the entire experience outstanding. It's clear Ms. Bailey leads by example, as the store's cleanliness, organization, and excellent customer service truly stand out. I will absolutely be back and look forward to visiting again soon! Multiple shirts were there and were not located anywhere else in the store. The manager Tami A, stated that a customer must have placed them there earlier, she said that she saw a man walking around with them, all of them, (at least 6 of them all sizes from small to 2X) and he must have just placed them there. She refused to honor the price. As I was leaving the mall, I passed back by where the shirts were earlier, they were placed back in the same spot, but the sign had been removed. I confronted Tami about not being truthful. She admitted that she had not been truthful, but still failed to honor the price. This is ridiculous, she's a manager and showed this type of character in front of her staff. I will not ever step foot back in Bloomingdale's Grand Prairie outlet again.

I found shoes that I really liked, but they were a half size too big, so my mom and I went looking around the outlet. Store after store, we couldn't find anything that went well with my dress! I had the first pair of shoes on my mind the whole time. We came back and grabbed the shoes and talked to a sales associate about it. She was sweet and helpful, and directed us to the dressing rooms. There, another sales associate helped us, opened up some of those gel soles out of the package and fitted them onto the shoe. They fit! We got the soles and the shoes, and the outlet gave 15% off to military, teachers, or students! I am a teacher myself, so I even saved a little more! Overall, great discounts, wonderful service.

However, I can review this from the viewpoint of a relatively stylish guy only shopping the mens section. First, the shoes. It always makes me laugh to look at the shoes and see "80% off" and the shoes are still $70. However, you can certainly find shoes worth paying that much for, and still leaving feeling like you got a great deal. The mens section, proper, does a great job of keeping the sizes together. Where the womens section has the organization of a Ross, the mens is more like Macy's or JCP. Likely due to simply carrying less product. In addition to marking sizes, they group brands together. They have the same great brands that they have in the regular Nordstrom stores, but at greater savings. I really like Penguin, Calvin Klein and a few others. They have all of the brands I like. I wear a shirt size on the smaller side that is usually difficult to locate. They always have my size, and offer many types of fits, including slim and athletic. I really appreciate that. The ties and accessories are hard to beat in quality and price. They have a casual clothing shopping side too, which includes brands like True Religion and Lucky Brand. However, with jeans I have noticed that they are odd sizes like 33x29 and 38x31. Still, at a drastically reduced price. I would suggest simply getting there and leisurely browsing, allowing time. Since I was going to be spending a week there I decided to make a trip to her store so I could see these beautiful African prints for myself. I went in looking for possibly a jumper or a pant or a maxi skirt. The prints I really wanted weren't available so I perused what was. The owner greeted me and gave me a tour of where everything was. She was doing some work in the back and that was fine because I prefer to figure out what I want. She did suggest a one shoulder type dress that I didn't consider at first because I don't like my arms out (I'm working that part of my body image). I tried on a number and a pair of pants. I was sold on both but the pants were calling me more. When I decided to see how kind the mirror would be, I decided the pants were coming home with me but though I'd grab that dress to try on because, hey, it couldn't hurt right? I. Am. So. Glad. I. Did. That dress looked amazing on me. It was so very flattering that I didn't mind my one arm being exposed. I felt flirty and feminine (I'm more of a tomboy). The African print was beautiful and the colors so flattering. I decided on the dress instead. of course, when I got home I regretted leaving those pants.
