Incredibly solid spot for Dosas in NW Calgary, tucked away in a shopping plaza next to a dollar store. My friend and I went late on a Monday night, and we shared the Palak Paneer dosa and the Mysore Masala dosa. Both were so delicious; the batter came out perfectly thin and crispy with that signature tangy fermented lentil flavor. The chutneys on the side were also excellent. Shoutout to our server as well! I didn't get her name, but she was very friendly and kind. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again. read more

Wow! I'm impressed with the food we ordered from Dosa Garden in Sage Hill NW via Uber Eats. The best part was the Pomfret Pallichatnu Curry! The Pomfret was heavily marinated with different spices, a hint of tamarind, & onions. It was wrapped in a banana leaf then roasted. So darn good! Comes with a small briyani rice and salad. The other items ordered were - Masala Dosa. Comes with sambar, coconut & hot sauces. Inside the square dosa housed the mildly spiced mashed potatoes & onions. - Madras Fish Curry - delicious with a slow burn. The tamarind-based curry was so good! - Masala Omelette - quite a nice compliment to the meal. read more

I've eaten at many Indian restaurants and am familiar with the prices and portions of all types of dishes,that said,the rice is significantly overpriced in comparison to all the places I've ordered from and most of the time spice is added for those wanting a higher heat level so customers that order mild have no issues,unfortunately my mild order was very spicy and they use cheaper cuts of meat full of fat and grizzle for the same price as other places that use quality cuts.First and last time ordering from this place. read more

We were at Calgary for visit to Banff and surrounding areas. Randomly picked this spot for dinner. First impression was that it was a crowded small restaurant with pleasant ambiance. Was very impressed with the quality of food, especially south indian idli and dosa, that we went to the same place for another night dinner as well. Kudos to Dosa Garden team: especially Chef (from Madurai) and owner (Raju). I highly recommend everyone to visit this place while in Calgary. read more
