Thank you Dennis for a fabulous color job-not easy on really long, thick brunette hair to blonde so naturally; plus a textured cut & even a great blow out & style! I have received 2 compliments from strangers already after only 1 day of the appointment! I'm so lucky to have found you & your beautiful salon! read more

Back again after 2 1/2 months to get my roots touched up by Sam! I'm a mom on the go so this hair style/color has really done me justice & I'm always excited when I get to come in for a touch up. Sam revamped my color with more highlights, lowlights & shadow root. I also love the products she uses on my hair. I've gone back & forth from brunette to blond so many times & now my hair has icy blond color in it which is harsh on hair but with her help my hair is super healthy & growing! read more

Followed Patrick to this new salon called Denmis Ogas Salon. Cool, modern, clean, relaxing vibe. Love the decor-ambiance. Patrick is the sytlist I go to and does a great job coloring my hair and cutting. Have gotten many compliments. Reasonable prices too! I stumbled unto him when I was a walk in at another salon, and hit the jack pot as I'm from San Diego and really hadn't found anyone over there. Its so great when you find somone who knows what theyre doing and doesn't charge an arm and a leg to do it!! So when I'm in town, once a month, I come to Patrick. read more

I always search for salons that sell Unite products because the ones I've gone to in Chicago and San Diego know how to cut hair a little bit better than other salons. DOS is no exception. Dennis cut my hair for the first time about a month ago. I always like to wait to write a review to see how it grows out and my cut still holds up a month later. People ask me all the time where I get my hair cut. So glad to have found my hairdresser in the desert! read more

Thank you Amber for my beautiful hair! I love it!!!! I'm never disappointed when I get my hair done. Amber does what it takes to do it right. And I appreciate that she tells me when she thinks something won't look good on me. Highly recommend her! read more

I just got my hair done there tonight. I'm telling you do not go! I had 5 foils put in my hair on the top and got a haircut and it cost me 75 dollars. I can't even tell a difference. I will never go there again I cannot believe 5 foils with a haircut cost that much!!!! DO NOT GO AND WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!! read more

Last day in Palm Desert before returning to the stormy Northwest and the gray hair was showing. I called in the Am and by 12:30 Dennis and his assistant were transforming me. The result is a gorgeous color and cut, with a silky finish. I highly recommend his salon and will be back again Easter to get the Seattle gray out of my system! read more

I ended up going on a weekend trip to Palm Desert the weekend I had been planning to get my hair done, so I looked up salons there and decided on this one based on the reviews, as well as the first time client offer. After my experience there, I may just be going to the desert whenever I need to get my hair done now! The salon was lovely, the owner and my stylist Kim were both warm and welcoming, and she did an amazing job on my hair! I had faded out brown dye with almost 1 inch blond roots grown in, and she completely transformed my hair to a dark blond with golden highlights. It was quite a process, after the first set of highlights and toner, it looked good but wasn't quite the exact color I had wanted, so she kindly offered to touch it up the next morning at no cost, after which it was perfect! The prices here are so reasonable, plus with the 50% off first time it was a total steal! I have literally paid almost 5 times as much for color at other salons, and they didn't do half as good a job. I highly recommend Dos Salon! read more

I went to Dennis after I admired a great color and cut that he provided to one of his clients. I approached this women that was at my bank and she gave me his card and said she had been going to Dennis for years and is very pleased. I was able to get an appointment quickly and left there very happy. Dennis was quick and did an excellent cut and color. The salon has a very comfortable feel, with a pleasant staff. I will be going back and would recommend them without hesitation. read more

My very first Yelp review! What motivated me? Carlyn at DOS. If you are are there on vacation or live there and don't know where to go, this is the place. I was in Palm Desert visiting a friend who couldn't stand to look at my outdated, home-colored hair a minute longer. She called Carlyn who was nice enough to fit me in the next day. I walked out of there feeling like a new person with a fresh, new style and silky smooth hair. I have never had so many compliments on my hair-ever!. My only problem is, now that I am back in the City, I am afraid to go to anyone else. I was impressed by Carlyn because I did not know what I wanted done, I just knew what I did not like and it turned out perfect! She was personable, perceptive and I could not recommend her highly enough. If Carlyn isn't available, I don't think you could go wrong with anyone there. Everyone seemed very genuine, knowledgeable, up to date, and really nice to each other. Very refreshing. read more

Just moved to the area, and found Dos Salon on line. Went today and saw Dennis. He is not only super sweet, but he did a great job on my hair! I'm new to the area and grew tired of driving back to the coast for the perfect haircut. I found Dennis Olgas at DOS Salon my favorite way...by stalking a woman in Trader Joe's with an stunning haircut who kindly responded to my compliment by sharing the name of her salon. I drove home and did my due diligence on the web--was impressed with the very well thought out website, and booked my first appointment. Professional, enthusiastic, friendly atmosphere, great location, tons of parking... and did I mention I was truly pleased with my haircut and very subtle demi tint that Dennis nailed on the first try? read more

Always a great experience with Dennis. I feel like a million bucks when I walk out of there. He trims my bangs in between haircuts. Very accommodating to me. Thank you for great service. read more

Dennis gave me The best haircut ever. Can't keep the women away. Will not go anywhere else.

I decided to book an appointment for my mom and I after reading the reviews and looking at the website. We are both picky about where we go, so it was a risk. I'm so glad we took the risk because Dennis' was amazing. We both loved our cut and color. I got a semi-permanent treatment to get rid of fading highlights and my mom had highlights and low lights put in her hair. Their products are really awesome too. They use a Moroccan oil in your hair that you should ask about. It's reasonably priced. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this salon. It's tucked behind El Paseo drive if it's your first time there. Drive through the Bank of America Parking lot. It's behind another salon. read more

This is a cozy salon with a super friendly staff and that includes everyone! Had my hair cut by the very talented owner-operator Dennis who listens to what you want and will keep cutting until you get it! The woman before me left with a completely amazing cut - you could tell by the way her hair moved and how it looked when she stopped moving! Mine didn't move that much, but it really couldn't since I had it cut fairly short. I don't have to spend much time or energy on it (and I don't), but it still has style and I look put together when I leave the house. They really do want you to be happy with your cut and they are very down to earth while being very style oriented and anyone would feel welcome and comfortable going in which they should since it is definitely worth a try! read more
