After recently renting from Dos Pueblos I would give the company a 5 star review. My family moved here sight unseen from a different state (military) and were pleased with the process and results from the staff. Once I did the initial walk through, I had a few minor issues that they repaired immediately. The company is family owned so whenever I go to the office I am treated as such. It has been about four months now that I have been dealing with them with no issues. *Happy house hunting! read more

After seeing all of the bad reviews I felt that I had to say something positive. I had the worst time finding a place to live until I found this business. Every realtor before them would quit returning my calls once I told them I wasn't interested in buying a house. Noone wanted to rent to me. Once I found Dos Pueblos I knew I had to rent from them. They showed me exactly what I was looking for and it actually came down to me choosing which house I liked the most. Once I moved in and found a few things that needed to be fixed they were prompt in sending someone out to the house. Their website is set up so you can make automatic rent payments and it shows you a history of everything you have paid. I have had no issues with this business since I moved here, I found everyone to be courteous and professional at all times. If you are looking for an affordable rental, you won't go wrong with this company! read more

Absolute worst I've ever had to deal with. I am a home owner who has had to rent out my property. I have to say, these people are difficult to work with. As a renter, I waited over a month more then once to have a work order done. Then the people they sent out to the house were lazy and didn't actually fix anything. On top of all that, when it came time to do our move out, we scheduled the walk through and no one ever showed up. They had a long check list of every thing we needed to do to move out and we did everything. We were also charged for it since they "never received the invoices". Take my advice, save your money and rent with someone else. For home owners, save your home and use another property manager. read more

If you are considering renting with this company BEWARE! We rented a property from them for a year and it was a horrible experience. The workers are lazy, rude, and appear to know nothing about their properties. We had several​ issues that never got resolved after calling numerous times. This included a disgusting pigeon problem that was not only extremely​ annoying (you could constantly hear them outside the window) but a health issue (they would poop all over the front entrance​e of the house) in addition to a wobbly toilet​ seat that would come apart from the bottom whenever you sat on and got off it (roaches lived under it and occasionally​ when you would get up they would come crawling out from under the toilet​) took forever to get garage door clickers, air filter had not been changed for over a year when we moved in, and the list goes on. We stopped calling as nothing ever got resolved through them. During our walk out of the home,​ the worker was late to our appointment, admitted she had never even seen this house before​ and didn't bring our paperwork that we filled out when we moved in (she had no idea what previous damages were) within 5 minutes of being in the house she asked if we had dogs (we did, they were approved, we paid the $400 dog FEE, and they lived in our house for an entire year) she told us the house smelt "like dog"- when I asked her to elaborate​ she said, "I can tell a dog lived here, it just smells like a dog." Well yeah..... a dog did live there? She then told us that they might need to charge us for total carpet replace if the smell did not "go away"- She also asked us if we used a professional cleaning company and we said no. She then frantically started trying to find something dirty. She went as far as to pull out the oven from against the wall. There was some crumbs and a spoon back there, she said "we have to charge you for light cleaning!" In the end they charged us $95 for "cleaning" and $150 "for paint" (apparently the smell of dog went away?) the paint went towards 3 scuff marks IN THE GARAGE and the BACK DOOR (outside of the door) how that added up to $150 is beyond me or that it isn't included in "normal wear and tear" I mean we lived there for an entire year, its the outside of the house and the garage? We also noted in our walk through paperwork when we moved in that there was "significant damage to back door" (whoever lived there before had dogs and allowed the dogs to chew and scratch up the entire door and frame, chunks of wood were missing from the frame) apparently we weren't descriptive​ enough on the wording of "significant damage" so we are getting charged for the previous tenants? So please be as specific as possible when filling out your damage form during the walkthrough​ or its gonna kick you in the ass later (I mean you should write down every damn smudge and nick you see and hell even get the tape measure out and camera) All and all it was a horrible experience. We own a home in another state and I WOULD NEVER let a company like this manage my property nor would I ever recommend anyone RENT from them as a tenant. There are so many places to rent in El Paso, find a better property management company or landlord and save yourself the headache. read more

This company has a hard time living up to their obligations. Their process is disjointed, confusing and they are quick to argue and defend themselves. Things will eventually get done, but it will take patience and work on your part as you will need to help them facilitate you. Be prepared to wait and work around their schedule if you need anything done. I have no choice but to rent from them, so I have to prepare myself mentally before I reach out or interact. My best advice, be prepared for "battle and frustration" and double check verbiage on all paperwork and electronic communication when doing business with them. I do love the property and look forward to one day convincing family ownership to replace Dos Pueblos as management. read more

Contrary to the previous reviews I thought they did a great job with the house I rented. Although services are not prompt in comparison to apartments since their rentals are so spread out, they did get the things I needed fix quickly. I had no issues with the property and the people at Dos Pueblos was very helpful. I rather go with their company since it is family own in comparison to a corporate own company. The close out process went very well and they were very understanding to any issues that occurred on the property that was out of my hands. read more

I am a home owner and have used Dos Pueblos for nearly 7 years now to manage my property. It seems a lot of the low ratings on here have come from renters and not owners. As an owner I could not be happier with my service so far. The management is responsive and they go through the leg work to place the best renters possible in your property. Putting in this effort up front pays in the long run even if you have to wait a little bit longer for a good renter. I typically find renters within 8-12 weeks but I haven't had any issues with renters. The majority of my expenses have gone to weather related stuff (hail/wind) and basic home repairs. The price of the repairs are always very competitive and I have not had any repeat repairs (telling me it wasn't fixed right the first time). Bottom line, I would very much recommend Dos Pueblos for both home owners and renters. read more

They have done good by me. They are renting my home and doing a great job. They are on top of the rent and any issues that come up. The manager of this place is extremely rude and argumentative. I would never get another rent house from them. This is the most unprofessional situation I've ever been in. The house has had several water leaks and they talk to me like it's my fault when I call in. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! read more

We had a pretty bad experience with Dos Pueblos Realty. We had made an appointment for a viewing for a Saturday morning at 11 am. At first the realtor called 40 minutes before the viewing and asked if we could meet at 1 pm instead of 11am. When we met him at 1 pm he came 10 minutes too late and didn't know anything about the property. We told him the house is too small for us, so he said he has another property he could show us the next day at 11 am. The next day after waiting 15 minutes for him we called him twice and also sent him a text message. 30 minutes later he still didn't show up or respond to our calls, so we left. If I could give them a no star, or negative stars rating I would. From the beginning the initial inspection fail the stove didn't pass and yet they told told us it was fine. Took them about a week to send someone to fix it and it failed a second time, then it took them another two days to send another person to actually get it right. So we had no stove for the first two weeks in... that should had been a sign. Throughout the year small issues came but nothing serious, then one day our heater went out they couldn't find anyone in EP that knew how to work on it because it's a tankless heater took about two days to get working again. Finally it came time for us to move out, I had someone come clean the place and during the inspection I was told that there was cleaning still need it to be done. On top of that I was charged for paint after told that when we move they would have to paint the house. Got charge for misalenious items that you didn't think we were responsible for. Over all not the best place to get a rental property from there's plenty of other places out there. If someone had a good experience with them great, I wouldn't recommend them. read more
