The beef fajitas were lacking in more of a smoky flavor, but I loved the charred onions and green peppers on the platter. The chips were good and it had a dusting of what looked like paprika and I don't think the picante sauce was homemade.

I say "burrito" because in my world those "burritos" were tacos. The tortillas were average size tortillas. The atmosphere was great. The service was great. Everyone was nice. Then we went to pay out and left. Unfortunately the young lady who checked us out decided to turn her $3 tip into a $6 tip. I forgot to get a copy of the receipt so it's my own fault. I would say just be careful on paying out so you don't get robbed by the unethical female kid checking you out when you pay.

A welcome break from the Graham food loop…read more I finally made my way over to Ruthie's new location beside Vetoni's, and let me tell you, finding a fresh food option in Graham sometimes feels like spotting a rare bird. We've been living on a steady rotation of pizza, burgers, tacos and chicken for so long that anything outside that cycle feels downright exotic. Walking in, the staff greeted me like I'd just wandered in from out of town and needed directions. They asked if it was my first visit, and when I said yes, they guided me through the bowl‑building process with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for church potlucks and high‑school football. I went with the cilantro‑lime rice and chicken, then piled on elote, lettuce, shredded cheese, red onions, ranch dressing, and their "spicy" red salsa. Flavor-wise, everything melded nicely. But, that salsa? More of a polite handshake than a punch. I've had spicier arguments about where to eat dinner. I looked around for salt and pepper, but they were either hiding or on vacation. Tajín was sitting on the counter but I didn't try it this round. Inside, the place is decorated with care, inspirational quotes on the napkin holders and tiny Jesus figurines at the counter. It's the kind of décor that says, "We're here to feed your stomach and maybe nudge your soul a little too." I grabbed a bottled Dr Pepper Zero since there wasn't any fresh iced tea or fountain drinks. As someone with T2 diabetes, bottled teas are basically sugar grenades, and they taste like someone whispered "tea" over a cup of water and called it good. A real iced tea option would be a huge upgrade. Oh, and a salt and pepper shaker, even a community one at the counter, would be a welcome addition. Ruthie's is absolutely a win for Graham. This town has needed something in this food category for a long time, and the new location fits like a well‑worn boot. A little more kick in the salsa and some proper iced tea would make it even better, but as it stands, Ruthie's is a welcome addition to the local lineup.

I ordered a menudo and my wife ordered a breakfast burrito. I called in the order and was quoted a 5 minute ready time - great! When I pulled up to the drive-thru, I was greeted and gave my name. My order was in fact ready in 5 minutes! Now for the food. My wife's breakfast burrito was egg, potato, bacon & cheese. Her bacon was almost non-existent. Otherwise, it was an ok size (about average), and their salsa was good. She enjoyed it. My menudo was good, but had a little more tripe than I like, and it was TOO spicy. It came with 3 flour tortillas, and a zip lock bag with cilantro, onion & chopped jalapeños, but no lime or lemon wedge. At one point, it was so spicy that I got choked up when a piece of tripe went down wrong, and I almost couldn't breathe for a few seconds. Otherwise it was decent. I think I would try this restaurant again, but I will try something else. My wife was in agreement,

I was skeptical, but this was a shockingly GREAT burger. A hand/formed patty, and you could definitely taste the green chilies. They were not hot, but provided great smoky flavor. A bit of bacon, lettuce, onion and cheese rounded out this burger perfectly. I will be thinking about this burger for a while, and probably should never go back bc it won't live up to this expectation again. The onion rings were on point too--Hand battered. A minor quibble would be they could have been sliced a bit thinner. I didn't love the high top tables and chairs that seemed a bit wobbly. Bathroom was clean (a lighted light switch would be a great improvement since that bathroom is dark.) Service was good and fast.
