a taco tuesday sign and a bottle of coke
    Serena H.

I went here for Taco Tuesday because they are $3.00 a piece. The only problem was deciding which ones I wanted. So I ordered Steak, Chicken and Pork. I think I like the Pork the best season. The Tacos were good but I like a little bit more seasoning. I will try something different the next time I go. The staff was really nice and patient with my questions.

Tacos were gross. My hotel is super close to restaurant. What i received was cold tacos , meat and shell. Carne asada ice cold and hard as a rock . chorizo is a 2 out of 5 for flavor , tacos also cold. Beans and rice was the best thing . I wouldn't order from here again.

    Market burrito :(

I had the burrito with a side of rice and beans and chips. The burrito was quite small, and the serving of bean and rice were very small. It was 16.99 for what I ordered the food was pretty cold, considering it was still only 10 am. The flavor was very bland as well. I ended up throwing over 3/4 away.

    Veggie bowl = delicious!

I was wondering around the North Market looking for something to eat that was free of dairy and gluten... oh and that's also vegetarian. It's no surprise to anyone that I was having some trouble. Thank goodness I stumbled upon Dos Hermanos! I usually just walk by, as legit Mexican spots like this don't usually have a lot of vegetarian options. However, I was wrong. I was able to get a dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian meal for about ten bucks. It was like the holy trifecta! Thanks to the friendly staff for the suggestion, I ordered a bowl full of rice, beans, grilled veggies, guacamole, and lettuce. It was like a bigger, better Chipotle. My rumbling stomach was super happy, and I didn't have to compromise my dietary needs. This helped to keep a smile on my face all long, as opposed to just whenever I finished my meal. I will definitely no longer walk by this spot in the North Market with doubt in my mind. They got my back and I appreciate it.

Dos Hermanos was set up inside the convention center for Ohayocon, and it made for a great lunch spot! I'm not sure about their full menu, but they had the classics out like burritos, tacos and nachos. I got the loaded nachos....and they were VERY loaded! Very good too. I felt like their menu was a little pricy, but it's good stuff. I'd love to try the actual Dos Hermanos location someday.

Dos Hermanos taco with barbacoa. Yum!

Had heard great things about Dos Hermanos. For the longest time, I thought they were just a food truck but then recently I found out that they have a home right in the North Market (just one block from my apt!). I opted to get takeout from here on a Saturday night (heads' up- in the North Market, they close at 6p on Saturdays, so plan for an earlier than usual dinner). I went online to check out the menu and saw that I could even order online for pickup. I opted for one Dos Hermanos taco (gotta try the tacos, of course!) a chicken quesadilla and chips & salsa. They emailed me saying my order would be ready in 10 mins. I got there a few mins late and still had to wait about 5 mins. So all told, it probably took 15 mins or so for them to get the order which isn't bad at all. I noticed a line forming soon after I got there with people trying to hurry and get an order in before 6p. So it made me really glad I ordered ahead online! The Dos Hermanos taco was good! I got the barbacoa and it was very flavorful. The quesadilla was also pretty good! I dipped it in the mild salsa for extra flavor. Would love to try a barbacoa quesadilla next time. Chips and salsa were good. I tried their guac (definitely recommend!) and mild salsa. The mild salsa is pretty "runny" so even when I was trying to dip the chips or quesadilla in the cup, not much but juice was sticking. I prefer the consistency of the salsa verde at Condado. Also, I did get excited when I saw online that you can order Mexican Coke. I added that to my order. However, when I got home, it was just your basic 20 oz Coke bottle. So I was bummed about that- if they were out of stock of the Mexican Coke, they could have told me and I would have just opted to get my money back. All told, I did enjoy the food and will definitely be back to try out other menu offerings. Definitely recommend the online ordering-- and bonus for me that they are so close to where I live!

I believe that this store is one of the vendors in the North Market. At the North Market, you get a ticket to park in the lot, get it validated and then pay once you leave depending on how long you stay. I have never gotten Dos Hermano's at the North Market before though, I usually Uber eat it because they have the buy 1 get 1 free deal which is amazing for when you want cheap good food delivered. I got the Carne Asada tacos and they were good. The meat was a little chewy. I'm not sure if it was always like that or just like that because the food was delivered and sat a little bit. I love the salsa and how they give you a roasted jalepeño. I love spicy food so I get so happy when I find out I'm getting a roasted jalepeño with my tacos. I recommend Dos Hermanos if you are craving good tacos!

While I was in Korea, I came across a story that stopped me in my tracks--one of those moments when…read morethe weight of someone else's experience hits close to home. Ricardo, a waiter at Cazuela's Mexican Cantina in Reynoldsburg, had finished serving a table, expecting the usual--a tip, a simple acknowledgment of his hard work. Instead, he received a hateful message scrawled on the receipt, the kind that cuts deeper than words should. Ricardo works at Cazuela's only on Sundays, a second job to help make ends meet. So today, in between my OCIA responsibilities, I decided to stop by--to meet him, to shake his hand, and to remind him that there are far more good people in this world than the ones who spew hate. As we talked, I saw a man who carries himself with quiet dignity, someone who simply wants to work hard and provide for his family. I shared with him that I, too, know what it feels like to be told to "go back to your country," even though, like him, I am an American. I told him about my childhood, standing in front of my family's Crestview Market, hearing the ugly chants from passing cars--some driven by kids I went to school with. But today wasn't just about reliving painful memories; it was about something greater--the power of community, of kindness that drowns out cruelty. When I arrived at Cazuela's, I wasn't alone. Others had also come to show their support, to stand with Ricardo. He told me the outpouring of kindness had been overwhelming, and I was relieved to hear it. Before I left, I handed him my WARM card and told him if he ever needed help, he could call me. Because no one should feel alone in moments like these. And, by the way, if you ever stop by Cazuela's, their enchiladas and Mexican rice are fantastic. The chips and salsa? Fresh and addictive. And my server, Isabel--attentive, kind, and everything a great waitress should be. Some people choose to spread hate. But today, I saw so many more people choosing love. And thats what matters.
