I was in town for work and staying at the hotel right behind Luigi's so I took a shot. Now I would…read morelike to preface this by saying that I am a former Chef in New York City at many Italian Restaurants, and also lived in Italy for 3 years, I have to admit to being a snob when it comes to Italian food, so I didn't have very high expectations. I ordered the fried calamari and the Chicken Parmigiana. The calamari was perfectly cooked and crispy. And when the Chicken dish was served with a spoon in the pasta for twirling, I knew that they knew what they were doing. It was delicious! I am so happy that I found this gem. I went back 2 more times while I was there. I do not think I will be back in Oklahoma, but if I ever go back I will be there for every lunch and dinner.

We were passing through town and grabbed takeout from Luigi's after seeing the good reviews. Glad…read morewe did. My husband ordered the fried ravioli ($11.99) and I got the pasta sampler ($13.99) with lasagna, manicotti, and cheese ravioli. Everything was really good. The fried ravioli were crispy and came with a really tasty marinara sauce. The lasagna had a nice meat sauce, while the manicotti and ravioli were classic cheese-filled pastas with the same flavorful sauce. It also came with two pieces of bread that were more like soft rolls. Portions were just right for us. Not massive, but definitely satisfying. The restaurant itself looked clean and very traditionally Italian inside, with Italian music playing and that classic neighborhood Italian restaurant feel. Overall, a solid takeout meal and definitely worth trying if you're in the area.
