Here is why: The Property: The property is unlike any other I have seen in Rincon. The rooms are clean, modern and the beds are SO comfortable. The pool/bar area is such a cool vibe and played amazing music. We had intended on setting out to explore Rincon all weekend but hanging out in the pool was way more enjoyable than anything else we did the entire time. They also have a few different sections with different seating areas - such as the hot tub deck, zen garden and cocktail lounge. It is in an ideal location - we hung out in the pool all day then walked down to the oceanfront bars for sunset. Everything we needed was a short walk away and you feel like you're in the center of everything. The Staff: From the second we arrived to the late check-out on our last day, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The owner, Carmen, is simply incredible. She helped us snag reservations at an unbelievable dinner (Taste) which ended up being the best meal we had during our 5-week stay in Puerto Rico - she hooked it up!!! On two separate occasions, we were having trouble getting a cab to dinner so Carmen offered to drive us there and pick us up after. She mentioned they are in the process of getting a shuttle service which will be HUGE for guests. But I have never had an owner personally drive her guests - it was unbelievable service and such a personal touch getting to know her so well. She even gave us her number during our stay so we could contact her at any time if we needed anything. The Bar: The bar serves amazing cocktails and we had a great time getting to know the bar tender (Mia!) and all of the staff. They made us fresh, unique cocktails and even a few off-menu creations that we requested. It is also a hot spot for locals. The day after we had our amazing dinner at Taste, we met the chef who was having a drink at the pool bar next to us! The Food: We enjoyed our daily complimentary breakfast here so much! They have incredible omelets and so many keto-friendly and low-card treats! They also have snacks and bottled beverages available for purchase which is a great amenity to have at any hotel. The Fun: We had a great time experiencing some of the fun events that the hotel planned while we were there. Our favorite was the personal salsa lesson we had in the afternoon. The lessons were free for any guests who wanted to learn some moves from a local dance instructor. They also had ladies' night (discounted cocktails) and a few other events. It was such a great way to bring guests together and was one of the best memories of our trip. The Main Takeaway: BOOK THIS HOTEL! You will not be disappointed. Moldy coffee grounds in the room coffee pot, Locked out of my room because "the manager wasn't working," got walked in on by staff while I was naked in bed.. no knock, nothing, room was contaminated with fiberglass from the deteriorating fiberglass bed protector, needed to switch rooms, room I moved to had electrical problems, couldn't get out of my booking, the water went out, but they didn't notify anyone. They knew, but thought it was a nice surprise to come home to and discover for yourself...It was generally difficult to find anyone to help, whoever is manning the front desk has many other things to do... so they have to be tracked down. And even when you eventually do, they have to find another person who might be able to help. Which could take hours (and usually does.) I've literally never had a worse trip. I've stayed at many $10- $4/night hotels, and I'd trade any one of them for this one. (Except the one with bed bugs.) For the price, I thought it would be amazing. But it was only amazingly bad. Last month, I stayed at a Westin for the same exact amount, and had the polar opposite experience. Hands down, this was the worst value for money I've ever experienced.

The perfect getaway we both needed. -Private balcony with beautiful ocean view, satellite TV, kitchen to prepare our meals whenever we wanted to, so quiet we could hear the waves and ocean breeze when napping in the living room. -The bed in the bedroom is a little on the small side (full instead of Queen it seems like?), but it was very comfortable. -shower with hot water that came and went: normal in rural Puerto Rico, so get used to it! It's all part of the adventure ;) besides, it's too hot most of the time anyway -CLEAN, comfortable space for up to 4 people thanks to the 2 futons in the living room: but glad we had it just for the 2 of us ;D -LOCATION LOCATION: it can't get any better than this. SO many restaurants within a short walk or ride! Our favorite though was a bakery in the nearby town of AGUADA, called PANADERIA EILEEN: just follow 413 until you see it. DELICIOUS breakfast, CHEAP sandwiches for lunch, good coffee. The best! Also, Tamboo, just a few meters away from Puntas Tree House, has unbelievable views from the top floor and great cocktails -Reno, the owner, is EXTREMELY responsive: despite being quite the busy guy. Whenever we had issues with the Wi-Fi, where to find the keys/place them, etc., he always got back to us promptly. IN SHORT, our first time in Rincon and 2nd-year anniversary were unforgettable thanks to Reno and the Puntas Tree House. We can't wait to get back: even though we might buy our own piece of heaven in this town! ;D

After reading the reviews and seeing how many people said they have stayed at Tres Sirenas multiple times or it was their yearly getaway, we had to try it for ourselves. The vibe/ambiance/environment at Tres Sirenas is exactly what we were looking for. It can change your whole mindset and experience if it is off. We loved going to sleep with the sounds of the ocean right out our door. You are literally right on the water. The sunsets are beautiful and always postcard worthy. The places are very clean. The a/c works well if you need a quick cool down and the beds are very comfortable. I usually move around during the night, but the beds and sheets were so comfortable I didn't move at all and slept through the whole night! I felt incredible the next morning and to top it off, we had a healthy delicious home cooked breakfast (Not some cheap effortless continental breakfast). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The cushions on all the seats and lounge chairs are old and stained and were soaking wet so could barely use them, the pool was dirty and had to request it to be cleaned, the trash was overflowing when we arrived, the ice maker was not working, the in room massage was expensive for what we got, there is no safe passage to the beach, the outdoor furniture is not well maintained, no umbrellas, furniture old and outdated. I would not return unless they did a massive update.

Loved this place -- and loved the staff and neighbors even more…read more We found ourselves without a hotel room in Rincon one night because another place double booked our room -- we called Angel to see if we could come a night earlier, but the hotel was completely booked -- and so was everything else in Rincon. Angel made a phone call to some neighbors and he hooked us up with Kim and John who rented us a 2 bedroom flat right on the water for a very fair price. We were in a pickle and they could have charged us a lot more -- or not even bothered helping us out -- but these three people made our trip because of the genuine kindness. The next day, we moved over to the Coconut Palms Inn. We had the room right on the water on the upper level. It was awesome. I've never slept so close to crashing waves. The hotel is simple, cozy, and eclectic. There are some resident cats that come see you also. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Thanks for making our trip -- we were very happy and we will definitely be returning.

We stayed at this 1800sq ft villa for Thanksgiving 2009 and absolutely loved it! The house itself…read moreis ginormous, and super-clean. Livingroom, big kitchen, 3 full bedrooms, 2 baths. Beds are comfortable, and we encountered no bugs of any kind. There's also an outdoor shower to rinse off, washer/dryer to clean your sandy towels. The pool is great for hanging out in and perfect in evenings for watching the sunset, glass of wine in hand. The sitting area has very comfortable benches on which to read a book, or one of the 2 hammocks to lounge in. My favorite is the expansive side patio where we basically had all our meals, either cooked in the kitchen or at the outdoor grill. There are bushes of wild oregano and rosemary by the patio - BONUS!! Sadly none of the fruits of the papaya tree, coffee trees, and bananas on the 1/2 acre grounds were ripe during our stay. The view from the house is fantastic since it sits up on a hill - the Dome for which Dome Beach is named, the ocean, and Isla Desecheo. Location is central to any of the beaches in the area - none are more than 5 minutes away. Only tricky thing about the place is the driveway - hidden and VERY steep. Oh and there is one coqui frog somewhere in the bushes by the front patio who sings his persistent song come dusk and well into the night. Even then, I could have stayed here for another week easily!
