Alligator Construction certainly lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Rob and his team (Shout out to Mike, Napo, Zaca) are some of the best people I've ever met. It's been a few years since my home was completed and Rob is still my go-to guy whenever we need something construction related. Big thanks to Alligator Construction for being a stand up company

Also, Tim did not answer calls, texts, emails, or return voice messages over a 30 day period! Tim had completed some work for me last year, and although there were a few minor issues, I was still willing to work with him since they were easily fixed. On March 30, he came by to discuss more work to be done and scheduled me for May 15th and 16th. As I mentioned, he did not show up. On May 16th, I called Tim from someone else's phone two times. The first call was a bad connection...I was speaking and no response. I waited a few minutes and tried again, and Tim did answer. He says he is now doing contracting work only and his guys are "all tied up" and he would not be doing "handyman" work. I replied that he should have had the courtesy to contact me ahead of time, and his response was "you are right". My advice is to be careful, because if a better job comes along, he may leave you hanging too! The work in May included bathroom ceiling replacement, fixing doors, replacing interior doors, painting, electrical work, and other items. I also spoke with him about remodeling the kitchen in the summer. So, this was not a minor project. Regardless, in my opinion, anyone who ignores their customers, disregards their commitments and blatantly disappears is UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

My friend recommended Springer to me when I was in the process of trying to get people to just come to give an estimate, which was near impossible. Springer came when they said they would unlike everyone else and I never felt like they were trying to rip me off. The contractual charges were reasonable and when I got extra charges because I had an old roof with lots of wood damage, Mr.Springer was always available to talk through the charges and my concerns. His roofers were also great..they got the job done faster but not too fast than any of my other neighbors that I've watched over the past year since Irma hit. Mr.Springer has an excellent assistant, Elle who is nice and professional. At the end of the day, I am just a simple homeowner without any drama who wanted a new roof for an affordable price without any hassles and I got it with Springer!!!!!

Long overdue review. Had my roof done over a year ago. Although the work hasn't given me any issue,…read moreI felt as if I was given an incomplete job. The sides of the first floor roof were left with blue glue (?)exposed (picture for reference). I paid someone $700 to have them cover with stucco as my townhome was getting new paint job. The second level roof has black looking glue which is also exposed. Needless to say it looked very half ass as I told the sales person. I didn't see how this was considered a complete job leaving the sides exposed without any metal eaves or stucco as I have seen other jobs dinevun my neighborhood. When they finally got back to me after some unanswered calls, I was told it would be $700 additional to get the eaves covered with stucco. Im not sure why this was not included in the original job. Or why it was never addressed as this being important to protect the integrity of the roof in the long run. I live in an older town home community. I see new roofs being done frequently around me and have yet one to see who leaves this black adhesive edge like the job Springer roofing did for me. I regret going with this company and wish I would've spent more time looking elsewhere or even asking neighbors for recommendations.

An estimator came out and inspected it but did not give me a written estimate. The next day a crew of 2 came to repair the area and the estimator came back with the written estimate but the job was already finished (in 3.5 hours). Only 1 of the crew, a young guy, actually worked on the repair; the 2nd crew person left to pick up 2 boards needed for the repair. The estimator did not correctly asses what materials needed to be on the work truck, necessitating a drive to purchase materials. I was charged for 2 half days of labor plus driving ( a total of 2 crewman for 8 hours each) however only 1 crew person actually worked; the 2nd crew person was gone for 2 hours picking up supplies and when she was on the site- she only assisted in priming the 2 boards that were replaced, for about 30 minutes. I shared photos of the 2nd crewman leaving and returning as well as standing around during the time the 1st crew worked. Further, although I was charged for a full bucket of primer, the container was only 1/4 full at the beginning and the crew did not leave me the leftover primer, which I was charged for. I was charged at the end a total of 16 hours for labor and driving time and I estimated the labor for crew person 1 to be 3.78 hours and crew person 2 to be 3 hours although she did not work except for about 30 minutes. I would not use this company for repairs as they do not provide timely estimates and the number of crew needed for a job are padded high as well as not working although being paid to work; the crew are dishonest and the owners of the company.
