She would spend too much on some areas and leave other parts of my body unattended. It was uncomfortable at times. But when I tried to say something about it, she needed to stop and figured out how to communicate with me and understand what I was saying, it happened twice so I decided to just let it be because it was time consuming and she was not massaging and I paid for one hour. Also she stepped out side for a bit so in my world you need to compensate for that time. Sadly, the lack of communication made this experience uncomfortable for me lesson learned next time to have someone understand the language or have a translator.

I wanted to cry when I left my last prenatal massage, the relief was so real! Or it was the hormones, but I like to think it was Cathy. lol. She offers many Asian modalities and add-ons so transitioning from the Asian massage parlors to her establishment was easy and I still feel like the services are geared towards healing and not just relaxation. I give 3 stars not because of the service, but because of the inconsistencies. I'm guessing an issue with the owner creates fluctuating prices and constant employee turn over. It would be really nice to find a therapist I can grow with and they can learn me and my likes without having to start over with every visit. Also, I'm pretty annoyed that they "used" to have a buy 6 get one free perk and they suddenly did away with it right before I was about to earn mine. That was the main reason I went there. Guess I have to find another place to go. I've met the owner before, and she was kinda rude to me. It all kinda makes sense. Girl, get it together and take care of your people.

Last month I went in for a prenatal massage and this time Ms. Chandra was my masseuse. She made…read moresure I was comfortable the whole time, had a body pillow for me (since I can only lay on my sides) and made sure my feet were elevated. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and wasn't causing any discomfort to myself or the baby. I love that she asked me what scents she should avoid during the massage, I hadn't really thought about it but while pregnant there are just centain smells you just can't stand. So I appreciated her attention to the little details prior to my arrival. I only asked her to avoid lavander because I'm allergic to it, but she ended up avoiding anything scented, which I appreciated. Sometimes I don't know if something is going to make me nauseous until I smell it, so avoiding anything scented so my nausea wouldn't be triggered was very thoughtful of her. She was gentle yet applied enough pressure on tight spots without hurting me. She mentioned that massaging feet was her specialty, however, my feet are very ticklish so I asked her to avoid touching them. However, I can only imagine how good of a foot massage she gives because when she was working on my legs and thighs (getting closer to my feet) the better I felt she got at the massage! Since she had to avoid my feet she gave me a face massage, which, up until then I didn't know could be so enjoyable and didn't know was as relaxing as it was. Ms. Chandra also mentioned she does body art and henna tattoos, which I've been wanting to do. She is new to Holistic Healing but I hope she sticks around for a while because I truly enjoyed her service! Each masseuse has their own fee end I believe hers was $75 and she is well worth it!

The menu is small and limited in terms of what they offer. I had to ask the masseuse if there was a body and foot combination and she said that there was for $65. It didn't really save me any money because she said that a full body for one hour was $40 and the foot was $25. My masseuse was quite flexible as she fit me in at the last minute on a Saturday night. Once you are ready for your massage, you are led down a hallway and there are several rooms off to the side where you can enjoy your private massage. The facility was clean, but the bathroom could have been more pleasant and warmer as there was some stucco repairs that needed to be done, and the sink looked as if it was a sink to wash clothes in- not your hands. Be prepared to be in the buff for your massage. Don't be shy. My masseuse was kind, easy to talk to and she asked me what particular areas on my body I wanted her to focus on. My overall experience was more of... stroking with oils by hot stones, but I prefer the deep tissue, hands on approach. As soon as I was trying to leave, the masseuse opened the door to let me out and we both saw a homeless guy looking inside of my car with a flashlight that was parked close to the door. Thank Goodness he wasn't really in his right mind because he didn't seem to notice that we were observing him. He then moved to the car parked next to mine and was looking in it as well. He then scurried off down the Pep Boys driveway into the darkness. There was nothing that we could really do about the situation, so I just briskly walked to my car as fast as I could. This is not a safe plaza to be in at night.
