I was shocked at having de4veloped allergies, as I have had these cats for many years and have never been allergic to anything at all. My problem was diagnosed by another top allergist at a different facility. I was anxious to begin allergy shots because I was very sick. This provider gave me a difficult time and sa9d I would have to wait between 6-8 weeks for approval. I went to NY Allergy And Sinus Centerts. I am so happy I did. Within one week, they set up the allergy serum and I received my first shot yesterday. I will continue r4eceiving them twice weekly. While the first allergist couldn't care less about how sick I felt-this was completely different approach I received from NY Allergy and Sinus Centers. Even though my serum will be in next week, Dr Nejat mixed up the serum for me personally nd gave me my first injection. Rather than ignore my suffering and make me wait so long, they empathized with my concerns about being so ill and took extra measures to expedite my immunotherapy. The entire staff, Toni Santiago and Sally,the angelic receptionist were caring and a pleasure to know. Sally knew how badly I was feeling and she called Dr Nejat and explained to him my quandary. She phoned me up yesterday and told me to come in to the facility in two hrs. Sally went out of her way to help me because she really cared about me as a person and not an entity. I was accommodated royally and very few medical facilities do this. They are too swamped with patients and treat them like assembly line objects and not as individuals. This medical facility is UNIQUE because they cared about me. They went out of their way and used all their resources to expedite my shots because they CARED. This is so rare with today's medical practices. Sally spent so much time trying to expedite my treatment-she did not have to do this, but she did, Where are you going to find this concern nowadays? I am RAVING about this practice because they made me feel like an INDIVIDUAL. They really cared.I am grateful for finding them and I am so overwhelmed with their empathy for others. By the way, the first allergist ,which I canceled, is still making me wait because obviously her office is treating me like a non caring entity that is too busy to actually realize how sick allergies can make a patient and they expect me to wait 6-8 weeks for allergy shots. To me, this is what a medical practice should do-but so many drs. are so busy that they just do not care about how desperate a patient is to begin treatment. I am thankful to Dr Nejat,Toni Santiago, and above all Sally-who went out of her way-although swamped with patients, to help me because she did not want me to wait duo long for treatment and she CARED ABOUT ME AS A PERSON. I have severe life threatening asthma therefore I cannot be without my maintenance medication. EVEVER SINGLE TIME, not once, not twice but every single time I run out of refills the pharmacy contacts them and they do not respond. I went without for an entire week and during that time period I kept calling with no response. I asthma kicked in big time and kept having attacks. I finally went to the office and asked for my medical records so I could change doctors. The receptionist was so nasty and rude! It was a bother to look for the envelope with the copies of my records so she got annoyed. I told he I'm done! Goodbye! Do yourself ya do stay away.

Then she looked down and saw my insurance and said" oh no, your insurance doesn't cover all the necessary shots. Now, being a doctor myself I saw an allergist 40 years ago & was getting allergy shots weekly yet I honestly believe I outgrew whatever was impeding my breathing and asthma .. The office is very primitive and the doctor has the personality of a doorknob...No bedside manner whatsoever and I do not suggest using this doctor especially for children who wouldn't eat meat allergy shots. I opted not to participate in allergy shots because I feel that at my current situation I would not benefit from them

We have such a hard time getting her office to send our order to Lab (multiple phone calls done). After many attempts to get the lab results for my child, I found out that the lab order was not submitted correctly. Half of panel was missing. Maybe open your computer and check if we even need to come in for an appointment. Second, she ordered tests for 4 different nuts. And half was missing. That's it! How about other serious allergens! My child is small and still terrified of needles. The screaming and tears it took to do the bloodwork in the first place. She didn't even bat an eye that we will need to redo bloodwork because of her negligence! No remorse. Third, the appointment was a huge waste of time. She was sitting there like owl blinking her eyes waiting for me give her presentation, I guess. She said nothing - no explanation, no information how to navigate my kid's serious allergies, nothing. Absolutely nothing. Keep in mind, it was our second appointment where, after running tests she was supposed to order, she would have more information needed to discuss our next steps or approach. Zero answers. I would strongly recommend NOT to go to this practice. Unbelievable that she can be so incompetent and ill prepared!

I spoke with a lady gave her my complete information to verify. She said Yes we take your insurance and gave me an appt with a Dr with a last name with a B. I arrived and there's a lot of ppl just hanging around the front of the building. The area feels very unsafe. I walked in the building. It is old and dilapidated. It's dirty and not kept up with. I took the elevator up to two. Walked in and gave the guy my insurance and I'd. He looked at my insurance and said oh no we don't take this. I said excuse me. Why did you make me come here to tell me this. And that's when the manage comes flying out of her office . And starts making excuses and blaming me for something her staff is responsible for.. then I ask her who answers the phones the dr line and how come they don't know why they don't know what's insurance they take and didn't verify. This is when a very large fat woman named Nicole comes storming at me puffing her chest yelling at me tightening her fists. I said does she want to fight me? She extremely unprofessional rude and disrespectful. I can't believe she is employed here. Never can I imagine that I come to a Dr office bc I'm sick and this is how you treat a patient insisting I pay cash for my visit when I have insurance. The blatant disregard of civil rights. Bullying and harassment.. they have no clue what they are doing and they don't deserve anybody to go here. no one should feel safe here. Family friends or yourself!!

It seemed like a call center and they wanted to provide me with a $100 gift card. They wanted to go through this before they would give me more information about the doctors. This felt very scammy. I can't find another way to contact the location I would want to visit directly.

However, after Dr Ciecko took the time to explain everything going on and answered every question I had, I felt a lot more comfortable. Dr Ciecko is extremely knowledgeable and didn't rush through any of his responses. Amazingly, he did 3 passes of the needle with only a numbing spray and I didn't even flinch - it wasn't a zero but he talked to me and explained exactly what he was doing so that distracted me enough for it to be a very mild amount of discomfort.
