I was excited to see that Green Lane had one in my own van's Merlot Pearl color. The listing included about a dozen pics from various angles that showed the door to be rust free with a few very minor scratches and one small dent. When I called Sam and asked if it was still available and to get a price, and to get a confirmation of the door being rust free, he said he would check it out and get back to me. He not only got back to me but sent me some additional new pics! The pics were great and the price was even better, $150. I told him I would definitely make the drive down from Boston to pick it up, and he even said if I couldn't make it down in normal business hours, I could pay via Paypal and he would leave it outside his office door. I told him I would also like to get the front bumper as the pics of that also looked better than the one on my van. When I arrived the next day, both parts were waiting for me. He told me that he gave me a bumper from a different van that was in even better shape than the one I had asked about, and for only $75. It was 100% rust free with no dents! He even offered me cold drinks for my long ride home! I've been working on cars for over 50 years and done business with many auto recyclers but none have ever been easier to work with, went out of their way to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting, and get me truly great used parts at a great price. I should've known it's a jeep. My jeep is a 2006 with 133,000 miles on it. I am the only owner. They found the rust, made a few phone calls, and had the rust repaired and welded PROPERLY all while I was traveling and did not need the vehicle for a few days. They also completed the inspection, tail lights, brakes and rotors, along with a few other minor repairs by the time I returned. My jeep runs great and smoother then it has in a while! They were super straight forward and not pushy about any extra work being done. I told them to go ahead with the few items needed and that I would schedule the other services in the upcoming months. My car was ready by lunch time. 10 out of 10 would recommend. They also followed up a few days later to check in on how the car was doing. This will be my mechanic in the area moving forward.

I've used this shop for close to 10 years at this point. There were a couple of times when my car…read morehad major issues that I was prepared to just take to this shop and have them deal with, but they refused. On the first occasion they told me to check with my insurance company first, and on the second occasion told me to check with my dealership, stating that they suspect the issue is covered by some sort of warranty. Their advice were correct on both occasions - following their advice saved me a lot of money on the repairs, even though they lost the business by turning me away. Based on these experience I consider this shop as very honest and have continued to use them through out the years. Their prices for routine stuff like oil change and state inspections, as well as other repairs, are much cheaper than my dealership. They also have a quicker turn around time and do offer rides if you ask them. The employees have been courteous in all the times I've dealt with them. I would certainly recommend trying them out the next time you have an issue with your vehicle.
