It was only a year or so ago that Drew came to our home to put that very same dryer drum belt back on after it popped off after I turned the drum manually. That was actually Lesson #1 in Proper Dryer Loading Etiquette because who knew that dryer drum belts were such sensitive manufactured parts? As he did that first time, Drew arrived ahead of our appointment time, quickly set to work and rapidly finished the job. And as part of the service, he cleared out the lint trap below the dryer drum. Manning's has been our sole major appliance repair service for a long time. Look at my previous reviews. I mean, REALLY look at them. I've been posting about them since 2015 which is when I started writing reviews on Yelp. We actually first called them about a year or two before that. Drew might do warranty repairs on appliances but if not, well the best thing about a warranty running out is that while you'll have to pay for the service call, you get to entrust your appliance to Drew for an expert repair. In our experience, warranty repair service companies have always been hit and miss. Drew's always dependable and his work is top notch. Do we like spending money on repairs for malfunctioning appliances? Not a chance. Do we enjoy having Manning's Appliance Service as our go-to for making those repairs? You bet.

I drove there with my weedeater and went in and rang little bell. He came out asked what I wanted. Not hello or can I help you. I talked to him about my weedeater problem, he looked at me and said throw it away (rudely) it wasn't worth fixing, their crap. So I said ok thank you and asked how much his riding lawn mowers were. He looked at me like I was totally crazy and said their not for sale. Apparently he just collects them. When I got home I called Weedeater company told them about my problems with my weedeater. It was totally repairable for less than $30 and I fixed it in less then 15 mins. Saddest part is that this shop was on their list of authorized repair shops. I told them my experience. This business might be a scam. They have come out to fix our refrigerator twice - and no complaints…read morethere. But - the same problem persisted weeks after the second fix. I tried calling - left a message. Again, left a message. Left another. Then my wife. Then me again. No call back. So - I was frustrated and scheduled an appointment. I didn't get any confirmation, so I called again and got the answering machine. I called back from a 503 number and low and behold, I finally talk to someone. They said that I have an appointment (tomorrow at 1PM). I saw something like - 'I must have missed the confirmation message' but there was none. The next day transpires and it is a no-call no-show. It is the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I left a final message saying it seems like you are screening your calls and not responding to me for what I can only think is you don't want to have to fix the repair you made that did t work. Then my wife started calling again and again... got someone that said they would 'transfer her to accounting' -- HAHA! There is no 'accounting department' - what a scam. I just can't believe you were just so bad at every aspect and interaction. All the calls, the messages unreturned, no confirmation for the visit, the no-call no-show, how easy it was to get a hold of you from a different 503 number, and then the lie about the accounting department. How are you even in business?
