I first saw Dr. Shin in 2012 to treat a major gum infection that required a significant amount of work and I continue to trust him with the care of my teeth. I started going to Dr. Perry way back in the early 2000 for my extractions. Ever since.. I've never gone anywhere else even though I moved to Waltham. One year later, I get a bill for over 900 dollars, well after my treatment was done.

Well, after a couple of months, I received a call from the office acknowledging the possible billing error which, in my opinion, is very deceitful and possibly fraudulent. Again, CHECK YOUR BILLING! Make sure your insurance gives you a breakdown of what they have pay because from what it looks like, they MAY be over billing patients and they don't have a clue. Remember, they MAXIMIZE insurance payment and then go after you for more money. Just be careful. Again, the services were good, but billing was very suspect.

The day of the rescheduled appointment, I drove over 40 minutes through heavy traffic and arrived 11 minutes late for a 4:30 PM appointment (we arrived at 4:41 PM). Despite the office not closing until 5:00 PM, the staff refused to see us because the doctor "wanted to leave in five minutes." After waiting six weeks in total just to be seen, being turned away over a few minutes -- especially when they themselves had already canceled once -- shows an astonishing lack of professionalism, flexibility, and basic empathy toward patients. Life happens, traffic happens, and most healthcare providers understand that. Instead, we were treated as if our time had no value whatsoever. When an office cancels on patients but refuses to extend even the smallest courtesy in return, it speaks volumes about their priorities. The entire situation left us feeling frustrated and disrespected. Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend this place under any circumstances. Patients deserve professionalism, communication, and basic consideration -- none of which were demonstrated here.

Came in to fix a cracked filling and Dr. Duong did an awesome job! This is my first time going to…read morehis office, so the cracked filling was not even his fault. It was really sensitive before I came in and it's been a week since I got it fixed and I haven't had any pain since. Not only that but he was able to change the filling from metal to white. The receptionist was able to make my appointment within the week. I came in 10 minutes early and they were able take me in right away. I was so stunned because I would normally wait 20 minutes or so at other dentist offices. Overall, great dentist and staff.
