The Hummer broke down in the center of London and could not be restarted. Herts however did not immediately contact us to offer transportation from the site of the breakdown to our destination. We were left by your firm to organise our own transport and this is completely unacceptable. Herts did call me to inform me that a replacement vehicle would be supplied, however other than a verbal apology, no service recovery compensation was offered. Again - completely unacceptable. Our scheduled pick up time from our wedding ceremony venue was 11:30 . We were not picked up until 12:30 . This resulted in our party having less time to take photos throughout London as planned and to enjoy the service of a limousine. The vehicle as supplied as a result of the breakdown of the contracted vehicle was a Chrysler limo. I have no frame of reference in the pricing of a Hummer vs a Chrysler but in the US , a Hummer limo prices significantly higher. As booked , we paid for 4 hours of service for a Hummer. We received significantly less than that. Again - no mention to date of a service recovery compensation. The substitute transport had non-working sound system. We had spent quite a bit of time putting together playlists for our wedding that represented a once in a lifetime experience that we and our wedding guests are left without.

As I said ni party lights or anything. And they had Christmas decorations instead of Birthday decorations. When I complained, the company only listened to the decoration part and I was told that shouldn't ruin my Birthday. No but being in the back of a transit van and paying nearly £600 to be squashed is worth complaining about. Worse company and customer service ever.

I wanted to add to the night by having a fun and comfortable way to travel. When I looked into dozens of limo companies, most were rude, short, over-priced and or inflexible. One in particular had about 3 websites under different names but when I called they were the same company. I thought I had found a good one with A1 Limos until I decided to check their reviews and found some really awful, scary reviews and quickly decided to keep looking. I decided to use a website that would get any limo companies to contact you if they had what you wanted based on what you entered in on the site. Only 2 companies replied. Moonlight and one other. The other had a very weird and rude reply of "You're better off going to Brighton, their drinks don't cost the earth compared to London!" Or something along those lines. I found this out of order and strange, as I was not planning on going to a club or bar where drink prices would need to be an issue and my plans would not be based on drink prices anyways and Brighton was not showing The Bodyguard musical, so this was completely silly. I was not going to suddenly change all my months of planning just because of some random limo company! When Alan at Moonlight replied to me, he was polite and replied quickly. I think I sent out my request quite late in the day and he replied that night via email. He had a can-do attitude, good prices and answered all my questions when I would email him back and forth. I emailed him, called him quite a lot and he never got annoyed by my endless questions. He always replied quickly, politely and was happy with anything I requested. He even sent me pics via email of his new party bus vehicle, as they were not on the website yet, in order to help me to decide on which vehicle to choose. He was never pushy or biased and advised me politely when ever I asked for his opinion. Even though there were not any reviews of Moonlight online, because of Alan's polite and continuous help through correspondence, I had a good feeling about them and so I went with them and I was so glad I did! On the day, there was a massive traffic accident around the area of the pick up point and even though I left home 2 hours earlier than pick up time, it took me all of that 2 hours to make it in from my home to pick up point, when it should have taken me 20 minutes! It was very stressful. Alan called me when I was stuck in traffic and asked if there was any changes I would like to make to the 2nd pick up point because of the traffic, and was really understanding when I said I wanted it to stay the same, even if it meant we would be late, because I wanted to surprise the Bride to be. Alan was on time and I was late and Alan waited about 30 mins I think and when I got to him I apologised and he smiled and said it was fine and was so calm and zen! He carried on with his duties happily and calmly. The bus impressed everyone, it was clean and equipped and really fun. Alan would put the music up or down when asked and offered to stop for us to have a toilet break halfway to London. When we got to London, Alan directed us to where we had to get to and when we were ready to be picked up, I called him and he came to us within a few minutes. He was always smiling, calm and ready at the bus door when we were getting in and out. He was smartly dressed and groomed and very professional. He just seemed to enjoy what he was doing and just quietly went about his duties for us. Everyone in the party said he was lovely. I have had the pleasure of riding a few times now in these cars, and everything about the experience is positive. The cars themselves are lovely. I have riden in a beautiful black Mercedes on my transfers, that is extremely clean and well maintained. There was a bottle of water in the back seat waiting for me. One particular driver, named Granville was extremely polite, and when I initiated conversation, he was extremely good company. I have made a point to request him on future transfers when he is available. I had the misfortune of leaving my ipad accidently in the back seat. I flew to Ireland on the Friday, and it must have fallen out of my bag. I emailed the company right away and received a very fast response, that Granville had found it and would pick me up on Sunday on my return to London with the ipad. When he picked me up, the ipad had no change in battery life, so not only did he collect it and redeliver it, he didn't use it at all. My communications with the office have been extremely fast and efficient. A big thank you, and positive shout out to Shana for being friendly, helpful and efficient in our dealings. Shana is an absolutely pleasure to deal with. If you are spending time in London and require professional, high end, efficient service, do not hesitate to contact Gerrard. They're not open bank holidays or Sundays, which makes them fairly useless/unnecessarily expensive (due to forcing extra rental days) The Budget website boarders on fraud; you select a vehicle and time frame, get a price, enter a good deal of personal information (credit card included, ticking off the right for them to charge it) and then are told the cars selected aren't available, and alternatives are lower quality and/or more expensive, as their reservations are on a "request" basis. Recommended only as a last resort, and call, don't use their website.
