When I needed a cab last week, I googled cabs in Hoddesdon and just dialed the first listing that stood out to me. And I got Phil at Tower Taxis. Phil is prompt and Phil is friendly. Both are excellent qualities in a cabbie. But the best thing about Phil is the prices. I found him to be slightly lower than other local services. On one occasion Phil quoted me a price for a trip out of town. When he actually took me there the next day, he found himself to be WAY off the mark--about £20! Instead of being an ass and charging me what the meter said, he allowed me to pay what he quoted the night before. I found this very refreshing as I've been screwed over by cabbies in the past (yeah, I'm talking to YOU All American Taxis in Chicago). Thanks, Phil. I'll be ringing you up again soon!

I have never had a problem ensuring the driver is aware of a passwordso that i can ensure i was am getting a cab from the firm i have ordered from, which is important when getting one from outside the Brookfield Centre as there are a lout of 'scouts' waiting to catch people finishing their shopping. The prices are fair and generally i am charged the same price for the same journey on most occassions. When i have been charged more i politely mention that i usually pay this price and the drivers usually say 'ok'. I am a very nervous passneger and the drivers i have had are always careful and chatty if you engage them first, which always helps me enjoy my cab ride! The drivers will always help me put my shopping into the cab and help me unload it at the other end! VERY HELPFUL

The taxi driver had a blowout which he was incompetent at fixing and kept my wife in the car (illegal and dangerous) and asked me to help him. He had the wrong tools which meant we Couldn't change the tire and he made ZERO attempt to give us an alternative ride home via any other cab or service I actually had to call an Uber and pay another 60 pounds to pick us up on the side of the m25 and take us home. AND to add to this disasterous experience when we asked for a refund the office and the driver declined because we were 10 mins late to get in the taxi and we stopped to get a lucozade which we gave him one. Absolutely disgusting and would NEVER use this company again Our driver had a white Toyota Corolla. This morning (22/05/2018) the cab was 10 minutes late so rang the office. Basically they couldn't find the booking, than changed the story and told me that the car had been waiting for us outside our house at the time ordered and nobody came out so they drove off. This was clearly untrue as my wife had been looking out the window waiting for its arrival and would have seen it. Certainly no message to mobile as is usual, no horn and no knock on door. When i questioned that the cab had actually arrived at all the lady on the phone shouted at me 'I can prove it mate' and put the phone down. No offer to resend a car. Nice. So if you want a reliable cab service do not try this one. If you want a polite service do not try this one.

They are amazingly efficient, unlike any other cab services Ive ever used…read more They usually have a cab ready within 5 minutes of ringing them, and if they dont they are extremely apologetic and usually offer money off the cab. I dont accept it because its usually my disorganisation that means I ring them at the last minute. They are excellent, certainly not cowboys. Their prices are reasonable too. No cab is cheap these days but I really cant argue with their prices.

Absolutely incredible!…read more I was at lunch with my grandma and she received a phone call from my grandpa who was at his home in Oxford (45 mins from us). He had fallen and was in need of urgent escorting to hospital and was planning on driving himself. I called this service and within 20 mins they were at the house, they knocked on the door helped him to the car. On arrival at A&E the driver who was South African and whom we owe and thank greatly, escorted him to the reception himself. We arrived later and my grandpa told us of the lovely taxi driver that helped him. Also, I requested a phone call from the taxi service upon his arrival at the hospital and that was super helpful as he doesn't have a phone on him.
