Our strata management agent engaged Auto Door Company to install a brand new two-way garage door…read moresystem at our Punchbowl building. Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst jobs I have ever encountered in my experience. Since the installation last year, we have faced ongoing and significant issues. The cables continue to break down, and the springs installed are clearly designed for a standard residential garage--not a building of our scale, which consists of 148 units and experiences high traffic. Despite repeated requests from our strata manager for the company to rectify their poor workmanship, Auto Door Company has denied any responsibility. Instead, they have offered an absurd solution: placing the garage doors on a timer to reduce usage. This is completely impractical for a high-density residential building and demonstrates a lack of understanding of our operational needs. I strongly urge others not to engage this company. Their conduct has been unprofessional, and their refusal to stand by their work is unacceptable. Please take this as a serious cautionary note.

We're talking 8-to-10 times the installed dollar value - may as well be up front about it. So why are they still singly the out-and-out best addition we've made to our house? Fully retractable, they open and close over any window or door, regardless of its opening mechanism. Left open, their matching frames disappear into the window or door frame - you'd never know they were there. Open the window or door, though, pull over the screen to its magnetic closing catch and you have full insect protection (plus, in the case of our typical Sydney bushland setting, some confidence that we're not going to find a kookaburra or a possum has inadvertently joined us on the inside!)

Within a few months our screen started to deteriorate, holes appeared in the kinks and the lock that holds it in place no longer works. We called to ask for support and were told that the operator of Sth Qld had sadly died and our warranty had died with him. However Anthony promised to get it fixed for us in January this year as he confirmed we were sold a prototype (which we paid around $2000 for) AWESOME JOB PHANTOM SCREENS!!! Now despite numerous requests we are ignored by Briana whilst our young children are often left with mossie bites all over their bodies the one thing these screens were meant to reduce. For the sake of your own sanity and your wallet AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs!
