I called for a few days and finally managed to get hold of Jagtar the CEO, who defended his driver and said he would talk to his driver and call me back. Still hasn't bothered to do that. My daughter was calling a cab daily to pick her up at Shopper's at Center Mall and take her to school before lunch. She was off for 2 weeks because of Christmas break. Her first day back, January 9th, she called a cab and they sent Akhtar. He pulled up in front of the loading docks (instead of the front doors?) and as she was walking towards the cab he started yelling at her. She couldn't hear what he was saying until she got closer. He was ranting about ' because of the incident with you last week, I'm not driving you' . He immediately rolled up his windows and refused to explain or give her a chance to explain that he was obviously mistaken. When she reached to open the back door, he locked his doors, glared at her for a few minutes and then drove away. Thankfully Blueline was able to get there quickly so she didn't have to be late for school. We very rarely have any problems with Hamilton Cab, I believe this is probably an isolated incident, but this should have been handled very differently on your end. Absolutely disappointed by this extremely poor customer service, especially considering we we're calling cabs a minimum of 10 times a week.

I love the bus stations here because in the winter time, they are heated (well I suppose almost every GO Station has that). Most students I know take the 47 or variations of the 47 bus which brings you to York University, Square One, Oakville and Bramalea on the weekdays. Even though the bus comes once every half an hour, the buses are still PACKED everytime, so try to get on the bus early, or else you might need to stand with a heavy backpack for about an hour. There's also a station that brings you to Union Square, but that's about it. I guess many McMaster students come from Mississauga region, so there's not a lot of options for the GO Bus to bring you to other universities or other places without having to switch buses at another platform like Square One. It's pretty easy to get around here though as there's only about 6 stops and it's all there, so it won't be hard to look around for the bus stop!
