Called for a quote due to my garage entry door to the house needed to be repaired. They were very nice, very honest and fixed the door like it never happened. Roger was very communicative and upfront about the price. Would definitely use again, although hopefully I never will need them again. read more

Roger is honest, fair and very down to earth. Others were telling me my doors were warped beyond all hope and providing estimates as high as 13k. Roger took one look and said that some jumbo weatherstripping and a proper adjustment is all I needed for both doors. I ended up having them do all five doors and the bill was less than $500.00. They arrived on time, provided a complete estimate, did the work as promised and offered up some amusing stories along the way. I would recommend Door King and Roger without hesitation. Solid guy who does what he says with trying to fleece you. read more

I had a door frame which had split and was making locking the door difficult. I was able to get a response from Door King and have repairs completed within 24 hours. The door now shuts and locks better than new! Pricing was slightly higher than expected, but well worth the money considering the fortifications made. read more

Charged me $95 to just come out and bid the job (after a previous handyman messed up a door installation) made it like it was a huge deal and then told me he didn't want to do it. Yuck. read more

Appointment is set for 8 am, Door King shows up promptly at 8am. They start working on my slider that had no maintenance at all in 20+ years. Got the shade screens off and started tackling the glass slider. Over 20 years of Nevada dust had accumulated, so they brought out many tools, screw drivers, various sizes of brushes and of course the vacuum cleaner. I was able to rinse off all the doors and they were dry by the time they were ready to be reinstalled. The entire job took 45 minutes. Scott and Roger were very professional and cleaned everything up like they were professional maids! I will tell everyone that I meet that is having door problems about Door King! Honest, Dependable and Truthful. One year guarantee, too! read more

I had a threshold and spring hinges to be replaced on a door leading from the house to the garage. I called Roger and sent him some pictures and he gave me a reasonable quote over the phone. Made an appointment for his guys to come and fix it in a week at 8:00 AM. Monday, Scott called me at 7:30 to say that they would be here at 8:00. Promptly at 8:00 Scott and his partner Scott showed up. They quickly went to work and started repairs on the door, being very neat and vacuuming up dust as they went. Scott times 2 finished in a little over an hour and the job looks top quality. Very happy with results and will hire again. read more

If I could give no stars, I would definitely do so. The guy who owns this "company" is Roger, and let me tell you, he's a real piece of work. He showed up at our home today to install a new bedroom door, but because I forgot to tell him our doorbell is broken, he left. When I called him, he accused me of being a scammer and looking to have another door company come in at a lower price, told me two strikes and I'm out and hung up on me. He then proceeded to continue texting me even though I asked him to stop. He ended our texting by calling me a retard and a bitch. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT get involved with this company. Worst experience with a contractor ever, and I've lived in LV for nearly 36 years. read more

Contacted for some help with a door that needed to be handicapped friendly. Was very responsive and timely. Arrived on time, went through all of our needs. Said he was going to see his vendor to get some items and would call back that afternoon. It's been 7 days and still haven't heard a word. Found another door company that came out and quickly fixed the door. Tried to give the independent person a chance and was ghosted. read more

Very friendly installers. Installed an over sized sliding glass door! The installers worked hard and completed the instal on time and removed the debris. Great service and company!! read more

My sliding patio door was being, to put it mildly, very uncooperative. The gentleman from Door King called me back in a timely manner, explained what the potential range of cost could be, and set an appointment with me for the next business day. He told me they would show up between 11am and 1pm, and they arrived at 10:55am. By 11:34, my door was fixed and working perfectly. The cost was right within the range he told me, too. The two guys were friendly, funny, and even liked my pets. As far as I am concerned, the guys at Door King were my heroes today, and if I ever have another door-related problem, they will be my first call. I can now close my patio door with one finger, whereas before I was having to wrestle it open and closed with all my strength. Tens, tens, tens across the board for these guys! read more

This review is for the information and time given to me by Roger over the phone. As for the 1 start reviews, I would not expect someone to come over for a free estimate, therefore I would not give a business 1 start because they don't want to give me something free. Keep in mind, you are paying for someone's expertise in this business, and although some may offer it for "free", it may not be. I believe in paying people what they're worth, so I would ask them: Do you want to work for nothing? Anyway, I did call around looking for advice and guidance on a door issue, which was out of adjustment. It was a fire door to the garage. One important thing I found out from Roger was that the door I had was not a fire rated door. Good to know. He spent a great deal of his time explaining possible causes, and provided estimates on what my options are at this time. Fortunately I was able to tackle this job myself by shimming up my door frame: problem solved. I am grateful for Roger's feedback, and would definitely call them if I have door work. read more

My front door jam was badly damaged from a break in because it was only secured to the frame by small nails. Rodger and his partner cut out the damaged area and put in a new piece of oak which was secured with three inch screws; and then installed a new dead bolt and door set. They did a great job at a fair price and I now have a secure front door that cannot be broken easily. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I work for an apartment community and left a voicemail requesting a call back. A man called me back and repeated the name of our community back to me and then very rudely stated "We do not do work there" I asked if it was because we are an apartment community and he stated "We do work at apartment communities, we just don't do work there" and I responded and asked if I could know why and he responded "we have to return all calls" and I said okay sir, wanting to prod further and he proceeded to hang up on me. I have never been so disrespected by a vendor before in my life and I can guarantee I will never recommend them or use them in the future. read more

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Roger and Scott came out early and fixed our patio slider that was in such horrible condition, we thought we'd need to buy a whole new set of doors. They were really nice and friendly with excellent customer service and workmanship. Our slider track was so messed up the slider used to get stuck to where it wouldn't move and the lock was broken. They fixed everything in a very timely matter and I can now open and close the slider with my pinky! The price was very good as well. I will definitely call them again. Had a problem with my keypad system (first time having a problem with them) and called the tech support line. Wait time was not long, however when I got on the phone, the gentleman on the other line was very short and did not seem interested in helping me. I started off with letting him know that I had a problem with my keypad and that I had the three components (model number, serial number and revision level, and circuit board number) handy and ready to go. He then asked,"well what is it exactly isn't working", I wouldn't have minded if he would have asked in a polite manner but he did it in a snarky way which really put me off. I understand that I should have gave him a deeper explanation to my problem, but I could tell right away he was not interested. Customer service was horrible. He did tell me that hardware issues are local, and again I would have been just fine if his TONE was pleasant and sincere. I called the local office and no one picked up and then got redirected to voicemail that was "full". Horrible experience with troubleshooting so far. Wouldn't recommend a long term business relationship with this company. read more

i employed Roger and his crew to fix my double doors at my place of employment! They were in bad shape and the job was more than expected however they did fix and rebuild our doors which over time had lost essential parts ( bad repairs by previous tenants) They did a great job on our doors and did what they said they would do- however in less than 30 days all the weather stripping was falling out - which I was told "This is heavy industrial stuff, not that cheap crap you can buy at HD"well it sure looked the same. They did come out and fix that however when they fell out again a couple weeks later, and I called to have them fixed I received argument-excuses and verbatim pertaining to " Your doors are greasy, It's this heat want do you want me to do? They maybe melted." When I stated that my check didn't melt before it cleared the bank I was rudely hung up on! Nope I wont be recommending and I'm sure my one year warranty ain't worth squat either! read more

FABULOUS! OUTSTANDING SERVICE! BEAUTIFUL WORK! My house is so snug and secure now! This is the best service experience I have ever had in Vegas and I have hired scores of workers over the last 15 years. If you need a door repaired or a new door, this is the guy to call! I had a problem with two doors in my home that were sagging and not latching properly. Roger and his assistant Vinny came to the rescue with quality craftsmanship, serious expertise, go-getter attitude, reasonable prices, and a lifetime guarantee. I checked them out, and they are licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Contractor's Board. PROMPT! Appointment was at 8am - they showed up at 7:58 am. I am thoroughly impressed. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with Roger and Vinny. They are fun and courteous and they care very much about the work they do. THANK YOU DOOR KING! I am THRILLED! read more

Prior to the sale of our home in Mountains Edge, we needed to do a few repairs, including the garage door. I contacted the Door Guru, Roger Weiner, at Door King. These guys did a great job installing an interior bedroom door for us. We have an old house but they worked through the issues with a friendly smile and efficient work. Great job again, arrived on time, efficient, attentive to details. Cleaned up before they left. Reasonable rates too. read more

Door King is Great! I had an estimate from the owner Roger just over a week ago and today was the install date. a. They are on time, actually early. b. They are craftsman. c. They can fix anything. d. Price is not cheapest, but if you want quality work this is it. e. They do extra things to make sure you are getting the quality you want. In the end, I could have done some of the work myself, I could have gotten cheaper quotes and all, but when you want first class work, try Door King. I highly recommend them. read more

Fantastic on time service. BLUF: Professional, talented, personable. You get what you want and more. They make it Right.

I just called this company to ask if they would be interested in re-installing my front door since it is not level and swings inward on its own when we unlock it. It is one thing to be polite and professional even if this is not what your company's does, but it is another to just be rude and flat out short with a prospective client. I know if we ever need any new doors or door work, I will scratch this company off the list. The very next company I called BRL's window & doors and they were nice enough to let us know they cant do this job but referred us to another company. I will remember this and make sure next time I need doors or windows I will call BRL, just called the company BRL referred and they referred another, seems like most people in town are nice, not door king. read more

Negative 100 stars!!! I am EXTREMELY APPALLED at DOOR KING in Las Vegas! I called about our two solid mahogany front doors. One door was warped slightly in the upper corner and I needed to see if we could fix it. The man who answered the call, Roger, was the most awful and rude man I have probably ever encountered! Instead of being kind and understanding and helping me to rectify (or simply help me UNDERSTAND) what was going on with the door, he was BELLIGERENT! Who on earth, treats a 'potential customer' with such disdain? He was talking to me EXTREMELY aggressively and it was VERY apparent that he wanted to just get rid of me...he wanted me off the phone! WOW! I called them VERY SPECIFICALLY because of all the wonderful reviews! I'm still trying to wrap my head around how he treated me on the phone because I was simply asking door questions! I do NOT understand how Door King could have such good reviews with such a NASTY, AWFUL tempered, rude man, as the OWNER no less!! I am STILL dumbfounded and shocked on how Roger treated me and come to find out, in the last 30 minutes of research, he apparently is a VERY NASTY and BELLIGERENT man! So it wasn't just me...w-o-w. He 'may' do good work, but attitude and how he treats customers (or potential customers) is everything! What he doesn't know is that we would have been a HUGE account for him! He has NO IDEA the work he lost and for that... I SMILE!!! read more

Did a great job finding a replacement for a locking mechanism that was forty years old. Great guys very pleasant and professional.

This is one of the worst services I have ever had, PERIOD. I had these guys come and fix the front door of my restaurant for $500. I was told there was a warranty. Within a half year, the door broke again on the first windy day since the repair. When inquiring about the warranty, they told me parts were free, but labor would be around $500 again. Furthermore, instead of taking responsibility, they had the gall to now tell me that our door shouldn't open outwards, and that we should just keep it open all the time on windy days and wait until it is no longer windy before closing it. Right... after 11 years in business, it was just PURE LUCK that the door never broke. And when it finally did, their "repair" lasted less than half a year. This is absurd, and borderline FRAUD. Never ever use their services, unless you want to donate to a shady business. read more

First , they called and arrived early. What a concept for Las Vegas! They were knowledgeable about their craft and set to work in 101 heat last Wednesday My doors were so heavy and hard to open even after all the WD 40 I had applied over the years that it took a lot of strength to open them. My Window Cleaners Fish, recommended them after they did an excellent job on my 30 odd window panes, door King , Roger and Scott, took them down and had a few problems because they were custom doors in 1986 and everyone is now out of business, but they fixed them to the point that I'm almost off balance when I open them now as I still remember the resistance they had before. The reason I'm writing this review is that I just came in from the garden and closed the doors with two fingers If you have stubborn doors , call these guys they are worth every penny! read more
