Conveniently located at the entrance, a trolley serving drinks!

I don't throw out many 5 stars reviews; however, Door County Trolley earned it! From making reservations, getting shuttle pick up, tour guide interaction, souvenir shopping and overall winery/distillery experience, they nailed it! We decided to have a group of friends take the almost 5 hour winery, distillery and brewery tour of Door County. Purchasing tickets and make arrangements to be picked up at our condo were easy. On the day of the tour, our friendly tour driver T-O-DD showed up right on time. His positivity and enthusiasm stayed at peak level throughout the day! We were greeted by other friendly employees at the trolley center. They have a bar outside the building and another inside. There is a large souvenir area and nice facilities inside the building. Having been briefed by our driver, we knew exactly where to be at the designated time. We grabbed our designated seats and our driver explained where we would be going and went over the lunch menu (included in the tour price). We placed our orders for Sonny's Pizzeria and headed out with "Holiday Road" blasting from the trolley's speakers. We toured Door Peninsula Winery, Door 44 Winery and received VIP treatment at both. We traveled backroads to Sturgeon Bay to enjoy our lunch before visiting Bridge Up Brewing. We boarded the trolley and took a scenic route back to Egg Harbor. Not all trolleys (there are a plethora of them) go to the same wineries, distilleries or breweries. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our day. We always felt welcomed and never felt rushed at any of the stops. Definitely put on your Door County "to do" list.

We went on the 7pm ghost trolley Labor Day weekend and it was such a fantastic tour! We got there about 30 min prior to check in, grab drinks and use the restroom. They had seat labeled to ensure all party members were seated together. Our tour guide, Ralph was fantastic! I loved all the stories and the stops. Going through the most definitely haunted Noble house was a highlight to me as well as the cemetery. I loved the Halloween music during the trolley too! I highly recommend any time of year, but especially going into spooky season.

I did the Ghost Tour and our spooky tour guide, Asher, was amazing!! I would definitely do another tour through DCT

We pre purchased our Murder Mayhem Trolly Tour tickets ahead of time. Website is super easy to maneuver. We were at the trolley station and ready to go by 6:15 for departure at 6:30 (ON THE SPOT) do not be late. The trolley does not wait.. There were drinks for purchase prior to getting on the trolley (wine, beer, vodka drinks, wine slushy, mock tails, and water) We bought three drinks and it was $36. They have a very nice gift shop and photo opportunities with scary ghosts. The tour itself was 3 hours and 25 minutes . Five stops and 6 great murder mayhem TRUE stories. ED our tour guide was awesome! He told the stories with such conviction, he brought the stories the life. He made the tour so much fun. The trolley was very nice and clean , 2 seat benches. Windows slightly open & you could close your window if you were chilly. The trolley itself was warm on an overcast day. Bring a jacket just in case Overall we want to do the Ghost Tour next. Thank you ED!!!

Our fantastic host, telling us a spooky tale before we exit the trolley to explore for a few minutes!

Went up to Door County with a couple girlfriends for a few days and decided to do the ghost tour while we were up there. It did not disappoint! Super informative, the trolly host, Asher, was super fun and entertaining and made us laugh constantly! He was a fantastic driver as well and maneuvered through every tight turn perfectly! Had a great time! Please be sure to tip on your way out of the trolley, they certainly deserve it for all of the amazing work they do! Thank you for adding such a fun element to our trip, Asher! (And he REALLY wants to be famous, so he LOVES it when people record him with their phones!)

This weekend, our family did the Door County ghost tour with Asher as our host. I feel compelled to point out that we are a HUGE Halloween family. We are hardcore home haunters and aficionados of all things spooky. We've done ghost tours in multiple states and my daughters and I are theater and performance buffs as well so we appreciate a good showman. Asher was AMAZING. Hands down the best ghost tour host we've ever had. Funny, engaging, the right amount of family friendly spookiness. The tour moved smoothly and included a lot of great stories without any of them feeling rushed. Really well planned and well coordinated. Door County Trolley- don't let that man go. Give him a raise. He's a treasure. Trolley was spotlessly clean, the gift shop is nice and the bar service at the depot was quick. 100% would recommend this tour to anyone.

We did the 10 am light house tour with Maxx and his stories, anecdotes and insight made this 3 lighthouse house tour a special Door County memory! Each location had its own history and picture opportunities and the final stop Cana Island lighthouse allowed us to climb the 97 cast iron staircase to the top of the lighthouse tower ! The view of Lake Michigan was breathtaking- we had a box lunch there and he suggested we could carry our own beverages during the excursion! I'd book this tour the first or second day in Door county as it ( they tour) gives you a great lay of the peninsula and where all the eateries, cherry orchards and retail and wineries are located. Make the trip one of your Door County " got to dos!" And ask for Maxx!

Had a fabulous time! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The tour started on time. Our tour guide "Special Ed" was funny, informative and dramatic when the tour called for it. We especially enjoyed playing "name that tune" on the ride home! Hilarious! Will definitely plan on doing the other tour (Murder and Mayhem) when we return to Door County again! Highly recommend Door County Trolley!

We happened to show up on the weekend they were honoring the 150th anniversary of the Peshtigo Fire. We caught the last few minutes of a talk and then saw a new video they made about the fire. It was very good and very informative. If not for the movie the center itself was a bit underwhelming. I was hoping for more having been to the excellent Luxembourg-American museum in Belgium Wisconsin (go figure out that one). [You must be wondering do I only tour Wisconsin-based museums of small Northern European countries. No but my wife is of Luxembourg descent so that is why...] Anyway the people were friendly and the few displays were interesting I was just expecting a bit more content.
